debtThe National Debt has risen to unprecedented levels.  AMAC supports this important legislation that requires all unused funds be returned to the Treasury for deficit reduction or the reduction of the federal debt.

June 9, 2020

The Honorable Debbie Lesko
Arizona 8th Congressional District
1113 Longworth House Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Representative Lesko:

On behalf of over 2.1 million members of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), I write to you in support of the Give it Back to the Taxpayers Act, H.R. 1085. As an organization promoting American values and fiscal responsibility, AMAC supports legislation that will help reduce the U.S. national debt.

Today, the U.S. national debt is at an all-time high and growing given the unprecedented spending already this fiscal year. If Congress fails to act soon, future generations of Americans will be forced to pay the burden through a weaker dollar and increased taxes. The Give it Back to the Taxpayers Act would appropriately address the rise in debt by returning all unused funds from Members’ Representational Allowances (MRA) back to the U.S. Treasury. The transfer must be used for the purposes of deficit reduction or the reduction of the federal debt.

AMAC and our members support efforts to control spending and bring down the national debt for future generations. We are proud to offer our full endorsement of H.R. 1085 and look forward to working with you to ensure a better future for all Americans.

Sincerely,

Bob Carlstrom
President,
AMAC Action

I live in Pennsylvania, recently we held our election to select the candidates for State and Federal offices. The election was held on June 2. 2020. It is now June 13, 2020 and we still do not know the results. Because of so called Russian election interference PA removed the Electronic voting machines and installed in their place the most reliable system the could think of, Paper Ballots.
I a safe system which eliminates outside interference with our voting. I however am more worried about inside interference, such as stuffed ballet boxes, and fraud in counting the ballots and verifying the voter as legal and their intent. This is a shame and a disgrace, why not have us dpi our finger or thump into a bottle of ink when we voted, this would eliminate voting more than once.
That could be a real help. STOP The VOTING by mail. Return the voting machines our technical personal could suggest and implement a safe system. Just do not rely on politicians to solve the problem, if they were capable they would not be politicians.

Ultimately, we will borrow every penny that China will loan us until they own us. Do we have any idea what the interest
rate is on these trillions owed to China ? It could be 35% or more.

Foolish conversation. Neither party wants to cut the deficit. This is a waste of energy.

Cut Social Security and Medicare first. That’ll take a chunk out.
