On behalf of the over 2 million members of AMAC – Association of Mature American Citizens, including over 58,700 who reside in Washington, I write to offer our support for House Bill 1165.
The citizens of Washinton to whom this bill applies have endured great sacrifice in their lives, have paid their share, and served their nation; and all have earned the rights to the fruit of their labor.
Your bill recognizes their work and sacrifice by expanding the already existing property tax exemption extended to Washington’s seniors, people retired due to disability, and veterans with disabilities.
AMAC Action is pleased to support your effort to bring relief to these deserving Americans. We thank you, Representative Shavers, for leading the effort to make HB 1165 law in the great state of Washington.
