According to the American Cancer Society, 21.4 million people will be diagnosed with Cancer by the year 2030. As of now, it is safe to say everyone knows at least one person who has been affected by the disease. Cancer can be devastating to say the least.

Many traditional treatments can be painful, time-consuming and the aftereffects devastating, but it shouldn’t be. Therefore, AMAC has partnered with the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, which was founded by Olympic Gold Medalist and Cancer survivor Scott Hamilton in 2014. He shares the same ideal for what the future of Cancer should be.

CARES stands for Cancer Alliance for Research Education and Survivorship, and this is precisely what they strive to accomplish. The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation funds innovative research to accelerate the advancement of less toxic treatments for isolated cancers and tumors. They hope that through research, they can uncover treatments with less harmful side effects, and one day eliminate the threat of Cancer completely.

Ground-breaking research is being done every day, but only by the support of those dedicated to helping will we meet these goals. On Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 5 PM, Scott Hamilton & Friends will bring Olympic, World, and National Champion Figure Skaters to Bridgestone Arena for can’t miss, family-friendly all-star performances alongside the biggest names in music.  It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience as music and ice skating come together to honor the work of the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, to celebrate the memory of Busbee and to fundraise for innovative cancer research. An After Show Celebration will immediately follow at the Omni Nashville, with live entertainment, cocktails, a seated dinner, dessert stations, a kiss and cry photo booth, silent auction, and many other sensational experiences for our patrons.
