The Biden administration quietly tossed a proposed rule that would have required U.S. universities and K-12 schools with foreign exchange programs to disclose any financial ties or other connections to Chinese state-run Confucius Institutes.
The decision was met with swift backlash from Republicans, who, along with the FBI, State Department, and Education Department during the Trump administration, expressed concern about the potential for Chinese influence operations inside the United States with Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms. Democrats, so far, have yet to react to the change.
Was there any doubt that Biden or any Democrat President would take this action? Seriously. At this point, China has so many hooks into the Democrat Party, and to a somewhat lesser extent many the Republican establishment leadership in Congress, that this was a foregone conclusion. The only surprise is that this wasn’t one of the first things orchestrated by the Biden administration in their first week in office.

Another scary thought, that the PRC would infiltrate our public schools and universities for the purpose of “teaching the language” or “sharing the culture”. China has become quite proficient at planting their viruses around…comes with practice, I guess.
As usual, Biden is clueless on this one as well. He is a dangerous man to have in the top job. We should look very carefully at impeaching HIM!
Yet another indication of where Biden’s allegiance lies. It certainly isn’t with the USA.
