Woke Disney Agenda Creates an Opportunity for Patriotic Children’s Cartoons

The woke Disney agenda is just the tip of the iceberg with mainstream media’s indoctrination attempt on American children. They have decided as a whole, to pander to 1% of the population by glorifying the most minute subsects of American culture. Recently Netflix launched a cartoon aimed at preschoolers, where a cow explained to children that it doesn’t “feel” like a girl cow and now identifies as a non-binary cow. The outrage from parents immediately went viral and led to a quiet cancelation of the show. The same can be seen with the last few woke Disney flops, Strange World and Pixar’s Lightyear. Parents don’t want to pay for their children to learn about sexual preferences, they want them to be entertained.

Being a child in the 90s, we had far less content available, and my parents would record programs that they wanted me to see, ones that taught values and critical thinking skills. One memorable show was called “McGee and Me!” They focus on a child and his cartoon friend who would deal with moral dilemmas while growing up in a new town. The content was humorous and entertaining, shaping my mind and how I viewed the world.

With the massive expansion of media, Gen Z grew up with a worldwide web’s worth of content to explore, making it more difficult for parents to steer them in a direction they felt could teach values. Shows like Veggie Tales remained an entertaining source of holy, family-oriented programing but as America’s view on religion shifted, networks began to remove all mention of God and faith from programs admitting they didn’t want to seem too religious.

In 2022, the woke mind virus infected the team at Disney, and they cranked the LGBTQ knob all the way up to 11. In March, executive producer for Disney Television Animation, Latoya Raveneau, bragged about her efforts to introduce more LGBTQ storylines. Karey Burke, President of Disney General Entertainment Content, promised to increase inclusivity in its production, promising that at least 50% of its characters will be LGBTQ or racial minorities by 2023. Disney continues to race-swap characters like The Little Mermaid and Tinkerbelle then choose to gender-swap the lost boys in their new live-action Peter Pan movie. These swaps generated a lot of hate from the lifelong fans of these characters and are a lazy way to represent minorities in their programming. If they had a real passion for representation, they would create authentic characters instead of repackaging older characters.

The positive is that this has left a door open for a revival of faith based patriotic children’s shows. With different outlets, like Pureflix and Angel Studios beginning to grow they are promoting programs like The Tuttle Twins. The Tuttle Twins tells the story of children growing up in a cul-de-sac and teaches kids everything from dealing with tough days to economic inflation and even bitcoin. Angel Studios is a contribution-based service and is available for free on most smart tv’s. The show has hysterical content from an outspoken grandmother who has no problem calling out communists and other haters of free speech. She teaches her grandchildren lessons in freedom and economics and is unapologetically patriotic.

Another Great show, Owlegories, teaches kids about God through the excellent things found in nature and revealed in God’s word. The series follows a group of students as they travel around learning about teamwork, perseverance, respect, and honesty. The creator, Thomas Boto, and his wife, Julie were brainstorming ideas and kept coming back to this idea of combining their love of the outdoors and their faith. With creative and engaging ways to share the word of God its no wonder why parents are choosing these instead of the woke Disney movies.

The motto continues to ring true, Go Woke and Go Broke. The two movies Disney put out steeped in their woke agenda lost the company over $300 million at the box office. The parents and grandparents of America are speaking with their wallets, and Disney should start listening.
