Nationally Recognized Food System Advocate Kelly Ryerson, “Glyphosate Girl,” to Join AMAC Active for Live Webinar on July 31

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As concerns about food quality, ingredient transparency, environmental toxins, and chronic disease continue to grow, many Americans are looking for clear, practical information to help them make informed choices about their health.

From glyphosate and microplastics to food labeling and chemical exposure, consumers are facing more questions than ever—and often receiving conflicting answers.

To help cut through the confusion, AMAC Active will host a special live webinar on Thursday, July 31, 2026, at Noon Eastern, featuring nationally recognized food system advocate Kelly Ryerson, widely known as “Glyphosate Girl.”

The webinar, titled “What’s Really in Our Food? Separating Facts from Fear About Glyphosate, Food Quality & Hidden Chemicals,” will explore growing concerns about today’s food environment and offer practical guidance for consumers who want to better understand what they are eating, how food is produced, and what steps they can take to support their health.

Ryerson is the founder of Glyphosate Facts and has become one of the most recognizable voices in the national conversation surrounding food quality, environmental health, and regenerative agriculture. Her work has been featured in national media outlets, podcasts, documentaries, policy discussions, and public forums focused on agriculture, public health, and chronic disease prevention. She has also become an active voice in discussions surrounding the Make America Healthy Again movement, helping bring renewed attention to the connections between food production, environmental exposures, and the health of Americans.

The session was developed in response to significant interest from AMAC members, many of whom have submitted questions about food safety, chemical exposure, organic foods, ingredient quality, food sourcing, affordability, and how to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.

“Many Americans, including many AMAC members, are concerned about what is in our food and how it may affect our health,” said Melanie Griffin, host of AMAC Active webinars. “This session is designed to provide practical information, thoughtful discussion, and actionable strategies so people can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.”

During the presentation, attendees will learn:

Following the presentation, Griffin will lead an interview with Ryerson centered on one key question:

Can We Trust Our Food?

The discussion will address topics AMAC members have repeatedly asked about, including glyphosate and chemical exposure, plastics and microplastics, organic versus conventional foods, food labels and ingredient transparency, regenerative agriculture, and practical strategies for navigating today’s food environment.

The event will conclude with a live audience Q&A, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions and take part in the conversation.

AMAC Active expects strong interest in the session as food quality, environmental exposures, and chronic disease prevention remain growing concerns among adults seeking to take a more proactive approach to healthy aging.

Register today and join the conversation about what’s really in our food.
