Unreported – Violence Continues Across America

violence

Truth will eventually out – and it is outing. No, not talking about FBI holding Biden Junior’s computer – with exculpatory evidence – throughout impeachment, or Pelosi holding America’s economy hostage for more socialist program starts.  I am talking about the persistence of violence – that mainstream media continues not to report.

Let us be clear:  A Princeton study in September indicated 48 of America’s top 50 cities, and 74 of the top 100, have been hit with riots. See, https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/09/06/data-48-of-americas-50-largest-cities-hit-by-black-lives-matter-riots/. The Department of Justice is investigating Antifa, BLM and funders for this riot violence. See, https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/tyler-o-neil/2020/09/01/dhs-chief-doj-is-targeting-and-investigating-antifa-and-blm-leaders-and-those-funding-the-riots-n875753; and https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/law-enforcement-plays-catch-stop-violence-radical-groups-protests-n1220486.

Meantime, police nationwide are being degraded, defunded, and dismantled by local Democrat leaders.  See, e.g., www.forbes.com/sites/jemimamcevoy/2020/08/13/at-least-13-cities-are-defunding-their-police-departments/; www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/07/22/gretchen-whitmer-defunds-police-cuts-115-million-from-state-cops-replaces-portion-with-fed/; and https://www.foxnews.com/politics/what-happened-to-defund-the-police.

Police demoralization in Democrat-led cities and states is profound – record numbers retiring, their lifetime of service and personal sacrifice unappreciated.  See, e.g., https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2020/september/demoralized-and-demonized-police-departments-face-workforce-crisis-as-officers-leave-in-droves; and

Not surprisingly, beleaguered police unions – abandoned by Democrats coast to coast, many of which have never been political – are almost universally supporting President Trump. See, e.g.,   https://nypost.com/2020/07/16/national-association-of-police-organizations-endorses-trump/; and https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fraternal-order-of-police-endorses-trump.

Seasoned law enforcement and public policy experts know the truth:  The cost of defunding, dismantling, and demoralizing police nationally could be enormous, not least for minority communities.  According to Harvard research, “thousands of black lives” could be lost if police departments are downgraded.

The biggest news is that, even in October, major violence continues to roil American cities and gradually spread to suburbs.  Mainstream media do not want to report this story, but like body bags from Vietnam the story cannot be suppressed – not the way the Biden emails have been.

Specifically, cities coast to coast continue to face nightly violence, apparently organized, funded, and creating concentric circles of damage, discouragement, fear, and hopelessness as property is destroyed, public safety placed at risk, and police pull back.  Examples are numerous, yet not making national news.

This month, violence has beset countless cities – from Seattle and San Francisco to Chicago, yet little is said about it.  Only in city-by-city accounts, does one discern the larger picture.  See, e.g., https://www.dailywire.com/news/riots-breakout-again-in-seattle-starbucks-cops-attacked-with-explosives-police-say; https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/local/protests/protesters-meet-under-burnside-bridge/283-977d7710-a41a-4fde-9f9a-86a5b2e85bc6;  https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2020/10/12/21510454/chicago-weekend-shootings-gun-violence-october-9-12-2020; https://www.newsweek.com/riots-not-protests-media-gaslighting-you-opinion-1521450; https://www.reflector.com/opinion/editorial_columnists/riots-plague-of-violence-ignored-by-media/article_61bb8af6-7fc2-5d91-a97a-f8966fc1de51.html;

As Winston Church once said: “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is.”  In parallel, eroding law and order is incontrovertible.  National Democrats may deny or attack persistent lawlessness in cities, and communities from Rochester, New York to Kenosha, Wisconsin, but in the end – there it is.

And what does persistent, organized, funded, politically stoked, now unprovoked violence across Democrat-led cities and states mean?  The answer is organized forces are at work stirring that violence.

On one hand, criminals capitalize on opportunities, weakness, indecision, and public policy errors – especially when left uncorrected or worse, reinforced by continuous bad decision-making.

When national leaders fail to forcefully weigh in, things quickly get worse.  While President Trump and Vice President Pence have denounced right-wing violence, Joe Biden and Kamila Harris delayed condemning – by name – violence tied to Antifa and BLM, as well as to foreign funded groups, including those linked to China. See, e.g., https://www.redstate.com/nick-arama/2020/09/30/biden-denies-the-existence-of-antifa-and-refuses-to-condemn-them-americans-respond/; https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/chinese-organization-with-communist-party-ties-funds-black-lives-matter-ventures/.

Somewhat belatedly, in September, Biden noted he opposes “violence across the board.”  Why the delay?  Because Biden needs the far left of his increasingly unbalanced party to win in November, does not want to alienate violent protestors linked to perceived Democrat voting blocks, has longstanding ties with Democrat mayors, governors and members of Congress who are antagonistic toward police – and needs them for his ground game.

Finally, he is as close as close gets – to China.  If there is any doubt, consult the most recent revelations from his son’s late-to-emerge hard drive – and ask the basic question:  If one is profiting – and one’s family is profiting – from questionable, potentially criminal links to a communist country’s leadership, who know better than American voters how close you are to them, how can you call them out for funding, reinforcing, or trumpeting US riots?  You cannot.

Accordingly, do not expect any 11th-hour Biden-Harris epiphany – before or after the election.  The far left – and violence pouring from an organized, funded movement – is part of the modern Democratic party, the machine that Biden hopes will elect him.  That may not have been how the young Biden started, but that is how he has ended up, tolerant of and beholden to the far left.

The seminal point:  Urban – and suburban – violence is not over.  It has not ended, just because a failed strategy of allowing it and pinning it on Trump failed.  Nor is it over because media ignore it.  It continues, in part for its own ends, in part because Democrat leaders were reluctant to condemn it, in part because they permit it.  Police are universally demoralized, which is why they support Trump, hope on his victory.  We should too.  Leftist – and reactive rightist – violence has no place in America.  In November, we can make that clear.  We must.
