The Mass Shootings the Media Wants You to Ignore

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA - AUGUST 29: People visit a growing memorial outside of Annunciation Catholic Church on August 29, 2025 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On August 27 a gunman fired through the stained-glass windows of the church while students were sitting in pews during a Catholic school Mass, killing two children and injuring at least 17 others. The gunman reportedly died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police. (Photo by Scott Olson/Getty Images)

Here’s a fact the media really doesn’t want to talk about: transgender “women” have shot more people than ICE agents have in 2026.

The most recent tragedies involving shooters who believed they were transgender happened earlier this month. First, there was 56-year-old Robert Dorgan, who called himself Roberta Esposito. During a high school hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Dorgan opened fire on family members in the stands, killing his ex-wife and their adult son before turning the gun on himself.

The week before that, 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, a man initially misidentified by police as a “female in a dress,” murdered two relatives at home before killing six and injuring dozens more at a British Columbia high school. It was one of the deadliest mass shootings in Canadian history.

You could be forgiven if you hadn’t heard much about these tragedies—the media virtually ignored them. By contrast, the country was subjected to around-the-clock hyperventilating on cable news after an ICE agent shot a woman in Minneapolis after she struck him with her vehicle.

That act of self-defense by an ICE agent triggered tearful pleas for national soul-searching and draconian restrictions on law enforcement. But the two mass shootings generated nary a peep.

This contrast highlights the iron law of the corporate media when it comes to gun violence: the facts always matter less than the narrative.

Within minutes after a shooting, the press begins assembling its preferred storyline like an IKEA bookshelf—only with more missing screws and more prone to sudden collapse.

Is the suspect a white male? Then it’s time to shove talking points down our throats about “toxic masculinity” or “white rage.”

However, if the shooter’s identity somehow cuts against the Left’s narrative – then we’re warned to avoid speculation and painting with too broad of a brush. That is, if we even hear about the violence at all.

Consider just a few of the high-profile shootings the media desperately wants you to forget.

In 2025, Robin Westman (birth name: Robert) murdered two children and injured 30 others at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis. “I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself,” he wrote in a manifesto posted online prior to the rampage. “Kill Donald Trump” was scrawled on one of the weapons he used to fire more than 100 rounds.

Before that, it was Audrey Hale (a female who went by the name “Aiden”) who shot up The Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school in Nashville. Hale, a former student at the school, murdered three nine-year-olds and three adults before police shot her. Investigators found a diary that proved she had been planning the attack for months, but they refused to release it publicly. Leaked pages later revealed Hale was motivated to “kill all you little crackers… with your white privileges.”

And don’t forget about Nicholas Roske, whom police arrested outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Roske, who now goes by Sophie, was dressed in black and carried a handgun, ammunition, a crow bar, and pepper spray. He planned to break into Kavanaugh’s home, kill him, and then commit suicide. Prosecutors said Roske had become distraught at the prospect of Supreme Court opinions that might limit abortion or protect the Second Amendment.

Then there’s Tyler Robinson, the accused assassin of Charlie Kirk who was in a romantic relationship with a transgender roommate. Robinson had inscribed several rifle cartridges with anti-conservative and pro-transgender slogans. He shot Kirk immediately after an audience member asked, “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” to which Kirk responded, “Too many.”

Now ask yourself: where are the primetime panels about “transgender extremism”? Where are the New York Times editorials about “toxic gender ideology”? Where are the demands that politicians who support transgender brainwashing apologize for creating a “climate of violence”?

They don’t exist.

Instead, we are told to avoid generalization and to focus on the real culprit according to liberals—the guns! Whatever you do, don’t acknowledge the deranged individuals pulling the trigger.

The truth is, at the very most, 0.8 percent of American adults identify as transgender. Why, then, does this group appear to account for a disproportionate number of mass shootings?

To be clear, most people who believe they are transgender are not violent. But that doesn’t erase the fact that there is an undeniable link between transgender ideology and these acts of violence. The propaganda that left-wing politicians and activists are pushing on Americans – and especially young people – is fueling the madness.

Of course, the Left refuses to have that conversation. Any questions about medical protocols, psychological care, and long-term mental health outcomes are treated as moral crimes rather than policy disputes.

What’s indisputable is that the Left’s obsession with so-called “gender-affirming care” tells deeply confused, vulnerable, often mentally unwell people that they are somehow trapped in the wrong body—a delusion that breeds alienation and rage.

Anyone daring to question that delusion is labeled a bigot or a transphobe—a literal, physical threat to trans existence.

Instead of therapy that addresses root causes, confused children are force-fed the lie that hormones and surgeries are salvation. Schools secretly “socially transition” students without parental consent. Liberal doctors fast-track mutilations. The result is a powder keg of unstable individuals, pumped full of cross-sex hormones and mind-altering medications, convinced that normal society is out to “erase” them.

Trans advocacy groups wail about “anti-trans sentiment” after each shooting, but the real danger is pretending delusion is reality. When we affirm fantasies, we ignore red flags. That’s not compassionate. It’s reckless and irresponsible. Everyone suffers, including transgender people themselves, who are denied the real help they need that affirms the biological reality of their identity.

Until we utterly defeat the leftist politicians and advocates pushing radical gender ideology, we should expect more headlines the media will try to bury. As Robert Dorgan chillingly posted on social media after someone “misgendered” a trans woman just one day before he shot up that Rhode Island hockey game: “Keep bashing us. But do not wonder why we Go BESERK.”
