AMAC Exclusive – By Andrew Abbott

Following a fresh round of shocking revelations from the infamous “laptop from hell,” lawyers for President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, have now embarked on an audacious new strategy of demanding that the Biden administration pursue criminal probes into the Biden family’s critics. The move raises serious ethical concerns and underscores just how desperate the Biden team is to stop the flood of damning information about Hunter’s behavior and the family’s foreign business dealings.

According to a report from the Daily Mail last week, the younger Biden, 52, “threatened one of his cash-strapped young female staffers with withholding her pay if she didn’t FaceTime him for sex.” Texts between the two show the female employee, who was 29 at the time and worked at Hunter’s law firm, Owasco, pleading with Hunter that she was struggling to make rent. Hunter then sends the woman $1,500 via Apple Pay, saying that she must “make up for back work” by “[Face Timing] me and/or going to our next-club party.” He later demands that she video chat him “naked” and there must be “no talk of anything but sex.”

The woman is the fourth known employee of Hunter’s law firm with whom the president’s son had a sexual relationship. Owasco also employed Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter’s late brother, Beau, and her sister Liz Secundy. Previous reporting confirms that Hunter engaged in a romantic relationship with Hallie but then had an affair with Liz.

Hunter also reportedly hired his daughter’s basketball coach, a former stripper, and engaged in an intimate relationship with her as well. But when she became pregnant with Hunter’s child, he cut off communication with her. The woman eventually had to sue for child support.

Previous rounds of revelations from the laptop have detailed other unsavory and potentially criminal acts on the part of the president’s son, including videos of the younger Biden smoking crack and having sex with prostitutes. Emails from the laptop also outline potential influence-peddling stemming from Joe Biden’s time as vice president, including Hunter’s appointment to the board of Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. House Republicans have pledged to investigate the ties, following two years in which Democrats dismissed the laptop as “Russian disinformation.”

As evidence of corruption and wrongdoing continues to pile up, Hunter’s legal team is now lashing out at his accusers, demanding that state and federal prosecutors pursue criminal charges against a number of people involved in exposing the scandal, including the owner of the repair shop where Hunter abandoned the laptop and former New York City Mayor and Trump advisor Rudy Giuliani. Hunter’s attorneys have sent letters to the Justice Department and Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings alleging “unlawful conduct” in the release of the laptop’s contents. The letters also call for investigations into a half-dozen other political figures and request that the IRS target Marco Polo, a nonprofit group that helped publish emails and texts from the laptop.

As many conservatives have pointed out, the letters ultimately amount to Hunter asking people under the direct control of his father to target his enemies. “How’s it going to look,” asks Kimberley Strassel in a Wall Street Journal op-ed, “if, at the demand of the president’s son, the Justice Department unleashes the full force of the federal government on the people who exposed Hunter’s problematic foreign dealings?”

Hunter’s ill-conceived legal move also amounts to a tacit admission that the laptop is indeed his and its contents are indeed authentic. When the New York Post first broke the story just weeks before the 2020 election, Hunter and Joe – as well as the mainstream media – blasted it as “Russian disinformation,” denying that the contents of the laptop were legitimate at all. On the debate stage in October 2020, Joe Biden declared the story to be “Russian misinformation.”

Only after the election did the mainstream media finally admit that the contents of the laptop were real. Still, however, Hunter maintained that the laptop only “might” be his, telling CBS in 2021 that “Russian intelligence” may have “hacked” the data.

But the letters from Hunter’s lawyers to the Justice Department and Delaware Attorney General leave no doubt that the laptop is Hunter’s, and he knew it all along.

However, despite mounting evidence against the Biden family, the mainstream media has continued to dutifully defend the president and his son. Even as the Washington Post admits that Biden’s lawyers “seem to be conceding that some of the data that has been made public is his private information,” they nonetheless described Hunter as taking a “bold and aggressive” strategy, while failing to make any mention of any of the sordid or alarming details emanating from the laptop.

CNN echoed that sentiment, repeating the Biden team’s dubious claim that Giuliani and others “committed computer and other criminal violations” in releasing the contents of the laptop. The New York Times even published a pre-emptive defense of any further revelations about Hunter last month, declaring the story to be “complex and very different in important ways from the narrative promoted by Republicans.”

The mainstream media and the Bidens – both Hunter and Joe – appear determined to muddy the waters in order to weasel their way out of a burgeoning corruption scandal. But with House Republican probes ramping up and mounting evidence of wrongdoing, the First Family may not be able to shield themselves from accountability much longer.
