Build back better tax conversation

WASHINGTON, DC, Dec 9 – The catchy phrase, Build Back Better [BBB], trips off the tongue easily but don’t let it fool you. It was deliberately chosen to promote the Biden administration’s multi-trillion dollar, socialist spending package that could have a dire impact on who we are and what we are as citizens and a nation. Its creators wanted to hide the truth?

The New American magazine pointed out early on that the slogan is Orwellian in nature – a way to win the hearts and minds of unsuspecting voters by tantalizing them with loads of free goodies. Senior editor Alex Newman, in his analysis, “Build Back Better”: Biden Rips Off Orwellian UN Slogan, warned us well before the 2020 Presidential Election. “Perhaps hoping nobody but globalists and Deep State bigwigs would notice the obvious connection, the former vice-president’s campaign for president has been touting its ‘Build Back Better’ scheme all over its website and beyond for weeks. However, there was no mention of the UN’s own “Build Back Better” scheme upon which it seems to be based — and that is not surprising, since American voters would likely be horrified,” he wrote.

Newman went on to point out the BBB would wrest control of how moms and dads raise their kids and would result in “federal wealth transfers,” “green taxes and regulations,” and “more expensive energy” [think gas prices then and now].

As regards wealth redistribution, Representative Nancy Mace [R-SC] disclosed to Fox News last week that the Biden BBB plan includes “Eighty billion for 89,000 more agents to spy on our bank accounts. This isn’t America. This kind of thing has been tried in socialist countries elsewhere. It does not work. And the fact that we’re going to continue to do this rather than reform our tax policy to make it more friendly and easier to use – either a flat tax or a consumption tax – we’re going to hire all these agents to spy on our bank accounts. It’s un-American.”

Fox reporters crunched the numbers of Congresswoman Mace’s revelation and found that the plan’s obsession with keeping tabs on citizens would result in an increase of some 1.2 million more audits, 25% of which would target workers making as little as $25,000 a year.

Mace described BBB as a “social spending” initiative that will fuel inflation.

Meanwhile, a Fox analysis found that “the Build Back Better Act focuses on a long list of social policies and programs. Examples include guaranteed preschool for children ages three and four, free community college, expanded Medicare and Medicaid, 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave and purchasing electric vehicles by the federal government. With Republicans unified in opposition, Democrats are using a special budgetary process known as ‘reconciliation’ to avoid the 60-vote filibuster threshold and pass the bill on a party-line vote.”

If all of this is not scary enough, consider the BBB interpretation as described by John Woodard, who started the Real American News Network. He suggests that the proposed Build Back Better Act is based on an international initiative called the New World Order.

“The New World Order is a plan that will remove all money, all private property, and certainly all democracy. This plan will implement a system whereby every key decision made would be decided by ‘remote, unaccountable experts … Just in case you believe that this information is nothing more than lunatic speak, consider the fact that the World Economic Forum [WEF] has an entire plan surrounding the Great Reset. In short, this plan is a communist dream.”

For those not familiar with the WEF, it bills itself as an organization that seeks to improve “the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas. It boasts a membership of 1,000 of the world’s richest and powerful personalities and corporations. The controversial George Soros, who has been described as an “enemy of the people” and a rich and powerful individual “intent on destroying our government,” is among its most controversial members.
