Demonstrators gather downtown in Grant Park to protest policies of the Trump administration by participating in a No Kings rally and march on March 28, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois.

People taken for fools can be forgiven. Those leading cannot. A time comes when misdirection and emotionalism get dangerous. We are there. Boiled down to basics, the “No Kings” Movement is a well-funded precursor of leftist mob violence. The goal is to delegitimize law, create confusion, push communism, and gain power.

Doubters, those earnest citizens who wish this were not so, may say “Is it really that bad?” or “Shouldn’t we oppose war, fascism, and bad things?” The answer is, you must unpack the world around you with care, study facts, and know history.

One of the first tenets of ideological warfare – like cheap salesmanship, bad magic, and good jokes – is misdirection, sucking someone in with a simple premise, then leading them in the wrong direction to a wrong conclusion.

This is what the “No Kings” leadership does, Marxism 101, using resentments and class warfare to rope people in, get buy-in for something obvious, that we oppose racism, fascism, unjust wars, and government abuse, then tag and push.

Sadly, those who do not think fast or for themselves bite. They accept the premise, then false conclusions, indulging an invitation to vent frustrations – personal, economic, social, and political – trading reason, logic, and fact for emotion.

Part of the multi-million-dollar “No Kings” propaganda campaign, a silly name for neo-communism that (objectively) falls short of “Black Lives Matter,” Maoism, and Bolshevism, is to rile people up, create froth, name it activism, give alienated, unemployed, and unhappy people some purpose, then point them somewhere.

The somewhere could be anywhere, which is why leftism and allegiance to such “movements” are dangerous. The initial stage is naming victims and villains, next sympathy for victims, hatred of villains, and then amplifying emotions to a fever pitch.

This is what leftist or “progressive” promoters of violence did in the 1960s, producing billions in property damage, surging terror, three high-level assassinations, and widespread social and political unrest.

In 1960s America, as today, the goal was undermining law enforcement, creating fear, raising doubt about history, the Constitution, and the Republic, pushing communism (resentment, oppression, centralized power) through “revolution.”

The former Soviet Union, Communist China, Cuba, Laos, Venezuela, and other death-dealing Communist governments are a lesson enough in communist “utopia.” The lesson, however, is too quickly forgotten. We are there again today.

On the facts, what exactly is this “No Kings” thing? A recent dive into records showed it is a well-funded push for neo-communism.  After last weekend’s antics in dozens of cities, here is what came out.

A Fox Digital investigation looked at the data and found:  “A network of about 500 groups with an estimated $3 billion in combined annual revenues is behind the coordinated nationwide ‘No Kings’ protest … including communist groups who are using the day to call for a revolution…” behind them “Indivisible, a national well-heeled Democratic political advocacy organization funded by billionaire George Soros …” and “radical socialist and communist organizations funded by Neville Roy Singham, an … avowed communist living in China.”

The list of communist groups behind “No Kings” includes “a constellation of activist institutions that promote revolutionary socialist politics and frequently collaborate in protest campaigns, including the People’s Forum in New York, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the ANSWER Coalition, and Code Pink, whose co-founder Jodie Evans is married to Singham. These groups work closely with the Freedom Road Socialist Organization.”

If that were not enough, city-centered groups now bleed to rural states, Montana to Maine, seeding communist propaganda and pulling unsuspecting citizens –people seeking purpose – into their carefully crafted cult of resentment.

The anti-American “Freedom Road Socialist Organization,” which “led aggressive demonstrations targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations” and favoring Hamas, said: “People everywhere are becoming increasingly hostile to the Trump agenda… sympathetic to revolution. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines, it’s the time to go out and join the people, get our revolutionary message in front of them … the people’s movements.”

“The Maine chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, working with activists connected to Democratic Socialists of America and the ANSWER Coalition, called on supporters to join … a Unified Leftist Contingent” against “imperialism, capitalism and state violence…These systems don’t fall without pressure…”

All of this is part of the “No Kings” drive for Singham’s Maoism in America, a “People’s War” that will “radicalize them from within.”  With this group are others like “Code Pink,” which “has supported Venezuelan strongman Nicholas Maduro, the late Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khomeini, and President Xi Jinping.”

If all of this sounds crazy, over the top, utterly anti-American, it is. Reasonable people need to wake up. People taken for fools can be forgiven, but misdirection and emotionalism can get dangerous. And sadly, we are there.
