News stations are warning travelers of high-volume movement expected for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Per AAA, close to 80 million people will be traveling for the 2024 holiday, broken down as the following:
- 79.9 million will be hitting the road
- 5.8 million will travel by air
- 2 million plus will go by bus, train, or cruise

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is no longer as threatening as in prior years, people feel more comfortable gathering together. Since roadways, airports, and train and bus stations will be bustling, travelers are advised to be patient and use their smarts.
