AMAC Action Urges Swift Passage of Bill to Stop Illegals from Voting

H.R. 8281 and S. 4292, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act is a common sense bill establishing vital safeguards to secure our elections from the threat of non-citizens voting amid President Joe Biden’s historic border catastrophe.

This bill would take vital steps to ensure that illegal aliens cannot cast ballots in this November’s election. Along with other important provisions, the SAVE Act requires states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls and empowers citizens to take legal action against election officials who violate their sworn duty to protect the integrity of the ballot box.

“Passage of this bill comes following a national campaign from tens of thousands of AMAC advocates urging Congress to pass legislation to prevent illegal aliens from voting in our elections, and we applaud the House for taking action,” said Andy Mangione, Senior Vice President of AMAC Action.

In total, more than 40,000 AMAC Action advocates sent letters to Congress demanding legislative change.

AMAC Action urges Speaker Johnson and House Republican leadership to put this bill to the floor for a vote as soon as possible. The House should swiftly pass this legislation and send it on to the Senate.

Unfortunately, Senate Democrats and President Biden have so far blocked all progress on securing our elections from wrongful activity and widespread voting by illegal aliens. Now is a chance to set aside partisan differences and come together to protect the integrity of American democracy.

AMAC Action Opposes Biden’s Cuts to Medicare Advantage

AMAC Action strongly opposes the Biden administration’s cuts to Medicare Advantage, a policy which breaks the president’s explicit promise to American seniors and will force millions of beneficiaries to pay more out-of-pocket for their care.

In public comments submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, AMAC Action condemned President Biden’s decision to slash Medicare Advantage benefits for the second year in a row, despite again promising during his 2024 State of the Union Address to never cut benefits.

With more than 31 million Americans receiving their benefits through Medicare Advantage plans – which are documented to save seniors nearly $2,000 in total annual out-of-pocket and premium spending compared to traditional Medicare – this most recent round of cuts will leave many seniors on fixed incomes at risk of being unable to afford their care.

Medicare Advantage plans are particularly important for middle- and low-income Medicare recipients. In 2022, 52 percent of Medicare Advantage beneficiaries lived below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

AMAC Action President Bob Carlstrom said, “The Biden administration’s attack on the Medicare Advantage program is an attack on America’s seniors. These very popular plans deliver great health outcomes while offering tremendous value to beneficiaries, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet thanks to Bidenomics. Medicare Advantage has also been proven to lower health expenditures and we ardently advise this administration to strengthen this program instead of weakening it.”

Every American senior deserves care that is both affordable and meets their needs. President Biden’s cuts to Medicare Advantage needlessly make achieving both of these outcomes more difficult.

Calls-to-Action

Support for Louisiana HB 608 – Women’s Safety and Protection Act

The Women’s Safety and Protection Act is a crucial piece of legislation that seeks to safeguard the privacy and security of women in various spaces such as locker rooms, changing facilities, school restrooms, prisons, and domestic violence facilities and keep them free from biological males.

If you live in Louisiana, we ask that you contact your Senator and urge them to support HB 608. You may access the campaign here:

Tell Your Senator to Oppose the World Health Organization’s Pandemic Treaty!

As citizens deeply concerned about the future of our nation, we must rally against the World Health Organization’s proposed pandemic treaty scheduled for May 2024. While international collaboration helps combat global health threats, this treaty poses significant risks to America’s sovereignty and ability to respond effectively to crises. Following the Biden Administration’s inadequate response to COVID-19 and the WHO’s mishandling of the pandemic, Americans must take action to prevent further violations of personal liberties and freedoms. Tell your Senator to vote NO on the WHO pandemic treaty!

Stop Non-Citizens from Voting in America’s Elections!

The Biden Administration has allowed millions of people to enter the United States illegally and given them a pathway to vote in our elections. This orchestrated effort by the Biden Administration to corrupt our elections and install Democrats as a uniparty must be stopped. Please contact your Congressman or woman today and compel them to stop non-citizens from voting in America’s elections.

AMAC Joins with the American Principles Project to Defend Christian Colleges

The Biden administrative state has decided to wage holy war against Christian colleges. This crusade has a dual purpose: to protect the higher education cartel against competition, and to persecute any Christian institution that dares to stand for biblical teaching and against cultural marxism. Christian colleges serve not only as educational bodies but also as communities where biblical values are upheld and explored in depth. They also serve as a bulwark against increasing anti-American, anti-Christian, and anti-semitic sentiment within the culture – we cannot stress enough the importance of protecting these valuable institutions! H.R. 431 – Life at Conception Act

This bill ensures that equal protection under the law is provided for unborn and born children. The bill takes the next step of defining in unassailable terms that the classification of “human” includes all members of the species homo sapien at all stages of life beginning at fertilization (conception) or any other circumstance leading to the beginning of life for a human person. Quote of the Week

“Every act of a delegated authority, contrary to the tenor of the commission under which it is exercised, is void. No legislative act, therefore, contrary to the Constitution, can be valid. To deny this, would be to affirm, that the deputy is greater than his principal; that the servant is above his master; that the representatives of the people are superior to the people themselves; that men acting by virtue of powers, may do not only what their powers do not authorize, but what they forbid.”

― Alexander Hamilton
