AMAC Action Joins Effort to Protect Children from Secret Gender Transitions

AMAC Action has joined with 66 other conservative organizations in backing an amicus brief led by Advancing American Freedom urging the Supreme Court to take up Parents Protecting Our Children, UA v. Eau Claire School District, Wisconsin, a potentially landmark case dealing with the issue of schools subjecting students to radical transgender ideology and “socially transitioning” them without informing parents.

AMAC Action proudly defends the fundamental right of parents to know crucial information about their children and strongly opposes teachers or administrators ever keeping secrets from parents about their children. Most teachers remain committed to working alongside parents to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. However, in recent years we have seen an alarming increase in activist-minded educators who view parents as an obstacle to indoctrinating the next generation into left-wing ideology.

In this case, the Eau Claire, Wisconsin, school district adopted an explicit policy of using different names and pronouns for students who identify as transgender without informing parents. Similar practices have been implemented in districts throughout the country, and in some instances, parents have even been told that they have no right to know this information about their children. That was the case for January Littlejohn, who shared her testimony at AMAC’s “Bootcamp for Boomers” event earlier this year.

AMAC Action is proud to sign on to this amicus brief and represent the interests of our members on this important issue. “AMAC members are greatly concerned about the deliberate undermining of the child-parent relationship when school districts attempt to ‘socially transition’ children without parental knowledge or consent,” said Bob Carlstrom, President of AMAC Action. “This harm caused by some school districts is a gross violation of parental rights and abuses children. We urge the Supreme Court to take up this case and rule on behalf of the safety and well-being of American families.”

Calls-to-Action

Stop Ranked Choice Voting in Colorado

A wealthy Denver, Colorado billionaire just released petitions for a ballot initiative, #310, which would allegedly “modernize” Colorado’s election processes. It would create an all-new, all-candidates, all-party primary election, allowing all voters to vote for any candidate for each office, regardless of the voters’ or candidates’ political party affiliation. Voters will also be subjected to a complex and confusing voting process called Ranked Choice Voting in the General election. Three grass-roots citizen ballot initiatives, called “The Good Initiatives,” have been crafted to counter these threats to Colorado’s elections. Help is needed for Coloradans to not only sign petitions to ensure these initiatives appear on the ballot in November in Colorado but to also to circulate the petitions because signatures are required from voters in every Colorado Senate District. If you live in Colorado, click here to learn more and to sign the petitions!
