Washington, D.C. – A record-setting 849 AMAC members joined AMAC Action’s virtual Arizona U.S. Senate forum on May 23. The event was moderated by AMAC Action Delegate Pam Furrie and drew the largest audience to date for an AMAC Action virtual program.

Republicans Kari Lake and Sheriff Mark Lamb participated in the forum and took questions from members on important issues facing the country, including Social Security, the border and immigration, and the spread of far-left ideology in key American institutions. Both candidates also provided opening and closing remarks during the 90-minute event.

Although every candidate running in the race was extended an invitation to participate in the forum, AMAC Action did not receive a response from any Democrat campaign.

AMAC Action Operations Vice President Jennifer Bengtson said, “Our team put a lot of hard work into this event, and it was so satisfying to see the number of AMAC members participating. Our Delegate Pam Furrie did a wonderful job moderating the forum and presenting substantive questions from AMAC members. We look forward to hosting more events like this as the 2024 election season unfolds.”

In the months leading up to Election Day, AMAC Action will continue to keep members informed about the most important issues facing the country and provide opportunities to engage with candidates.
