Because of the attitude of some of the spoiled brats,I choose not to watch ANY of them.
They are not going to make America look bad on nation wide television. They should NOT bring politics to world games.

Did NOT watch this olympics. North Korea competing alongside South Korea,…Bad news! Should not have been allowed by S. Korea.

I didn’t watch the olympics for 2 reasons. First, they were on nbc. the second reason is that I believe they should be for amateur athletes. Not paid professionals.

I was going to say figure skating, as I am quite the admirer of certain forms, but it had to be biathlon, as I am both a former XC skier and a master marksman

After reading some of the prior comments from fellow AMAC members, it’s truly sad to see how many conservatives allow themselves to be dispirited and manipulated by left-wing media into hating the Olympics. By emphasizing a relatively few negative aspects, America’s left seeks to minimize viewership of the Olympics among Americans because there is too much patriotism, too much individuality, too much patriotism, too much competition, too much patriotism, and – perhaps worst of all – there are winners and losers, and the losers do not get a participation trophy. Conservatives who reject the Olympics instead of enjoying it with their children & grandchildren and/or rooting for the USA are playing into the left wing’s anti-American strategy.

I no longer watch the olympics. They are not what was originally intended. They are neither amateur athletes competing on a equal platform or apolitical.

Never watch the Olympics. Used to care how many gold medals we brought home, not anymore. Nothing but politics and whining from spoiled athletes. Sportsmanship seems to be a thing of the past, take the Canadian hockey team for instance, whose representative took off her silver medal. She should be ashamed and her country must be so proud.

I enjoy many of the sports. I like to watch the sports US have a change to win. I feel if you represent the US you represent all Americans. Leave the political out.

Along with many of the other comments, I did not watch any of the Olympics. I have given up on the little football I used to watch. The only sport that seems to still honor America is NASCAR.

Can you believe some of these contestants been around for 3 – 4 olympics!! How do they support themselves?? I gotta tell ya, i think the olympics should be done away with. Money money money, and it only benifits those involved. And next month the world cup, who cares?? I did enjoy vonn losing. That was sweet!!

Stopped watching years ago when they sent the Dream Team basketball team…became professional & not for amateurs, as intended. Glad I lost interest considering how very corrupt & political it has become.

Don’t have a TV, wouldn’t pay to watch it online. Wanted to watch, but the liberal Trump bashing and the sickening coverage of the dictator’s sister would have made me shut it off anyway. P.S. Can’t stand tara and johnny weird!

I watched the final in men’s curling; it was great! The team was not political and they won the GOLD! The entire team sang the national anthem with their hand over their heart. This event was as exciding to watch as the Astro winning the world series. You might want to go back and watch the final event; especially the 8th end; it was amazing. BTW I like the bobsled, ski jump, alpine, speed skating, and curling (biathlon is ok). Also, I agree with a lot of the negative comments posted here (what did you expect to hear from the democrat media?) but… that’s what the mute button is for, silence.

I agree with those that didn’t watch. I enjoyed reruns of Monk a lot more than seeing the cruelty of North Korea suddenly vanish in fluff pieces produced by the propaganda ministers of the left. Don’t get me started on the ignorance of the US athletes…

I saw most of the Olympics but was confused with what stations showed what every
day. Also the downhill skiing was so hard to hear the anouncer over the crowds most of
the time, very frustrating.
Lastly I did not care for the announcers from the US on the ice skating scene-
know Scott has been under the weather but really would have liked a change
from Tara and Johnny.

We haven’t watched any of the Olympics for several Olympic cycles. To me it’s a competition of professional athletes with a heavy overdose of politics which costs an insane amount of money that could be used to support physical activity here.

I haven’t watched much of the olympics this go around. Too many political opinions like those from the blond idiot, Lyndsey something or other. Also the little fruity skater. Also too many boring sports that weren’t there years ago. Snowboring seemed to never come to an end. I reached the point where I no longer care who wins what.

As a lifelong athlete since First Grade, I’m sorry to hear that politics has spoiled the Olympics for so many other AMAC members, as indicated by their comments below. Fortunately, I gave away my TV many years ago, so I view the Olympics now by watching post-event highlights and replays on NBColympics.com, where I have seen zero politics. (When I want to mix politics with the Olympics, I’m happy to listen to talk radio and hear the honorable VP Mike Pence speak in Free Korea.) My favorite Olympic sport by a hair is ski jumping, which fascinated me as a kid and still does, even though USA is not much of a contender, despite the fact that we have 4 men + 4 women competing this year. (USA has a 94-year medal drought in ski jumping.) Nevertheless, I say “GO USA!” in ski jumping and all other Olympic events. GO USA!

I purposely did not watch any of the events with the sole exception of the fantastic ladies hockey game with the U. S. taking the gold metal. It was heartwarming and so patriotic to see our American ladies wrap themselves in several U. S. flags and all of them sing along when the National Anthem was being played after the game. I agree with many of the other comments in this reply section regarding the disgusting and embarrassing: NBC, the obvious hyping of homosexuality and transgenders, the bashing of our President and country, the dignifying of North Korea and its representatives and just the lib and global perspective throughout.

Agree with LYNN!!!!! I didn’t see any of the Olympics. I wasn’t interested. I’m tired of spoiled athletes bashing our country and our president. Haven’t watched any of the new breed spoiled athletes of the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB during the regular season in a decade and stopped watching their world championships playoffs in several years. Only watched minutes of the Super Bowl this past year because Tom Brady is one of the few good guys.

Ice hockey is a real sport. They’re not just skating around on ice. Those guys battle! It takes a lot of skill to do what they do.

This is the first Olympics I haven’t watched. I am sick of liberal politics being in all kinds of sports, entertainment, and now the Olympics. I don’t want to hear from these athletes about their politics or sexual preference. I don’t watch NBC. North Korea got way to much attention and should not have been given honor to Kim Jong Un’s younger sister. I wish the North Korean athletes didn’t have to return to that evil country.

My favorite part of the Olympics, Winter or Summer, is the Closing Ceremonies.

This means that the mass stupidity and boring waste of money is at long last OVER!! The TV schedules can return to normal and all the smarmy, tear-jerker nonsense can be refilled in the trash barrel where it belongs.

Thank God it’s over!!!

I will not let some obnoxious people ruin my enjoyment of the Olympics – winter or summer. Our grandchildren compete in hockey, snowboarding, bmx, etc. so it is a time when we can all sit down as a family together and enjoy watching and cheering on the people competing in the sports they are interested in. When they are older they can listen to the politics …. for now they just enjoy the competition.
