Seeking discounts for AMAC members at restaurants, etc. is a bad idea. This requires these establishments to “make a political statement” such as Denny’s has with their endorsement of AARP. If the power of numbers prevail we would surely lose. Instead, we should boycott companies that practice this and, more importantly, strongly URGE all such companies to offer SENIOR discounts. I love Denny’s but will continue to exclude them as long as they “choose” to exclude me. I also tell them this frequently and encourage my friends to do the same.

Your multiple choices does not work on all questions where there is a choice.

The poll is not working as advertised. It says you can pick up to two answers but only allows you to select one! :O(
Come on AMAC! Lets get this corrected!

Discounted gift cards would be a great benefit.

ALL OF THEM SOUND REALLY GOOD AND NEEDED. What about more discount on the Lasik Eye Surgery. Been really wanting that for about 35 years now since it first came out. But every year it just gets harder and harder to come up with the amount since I am not working. I should have done it when I was working but it was so new. Nobody knew for sure how it was going to work for sure or any problems. It used to be about $2,000 each eye and they would only do one eye at a time. But is has really dropped to $200 an eye and they do both at a time. Still it is very expensive. Been putting off getting new glasses for many years now because they a were $600 or more for basic prescription and cheap frames. My ten yr old glasses just plain wore out after patching a fixing for years and my nice newer ones that were 7 yrs old got chewed up and broken by my puppy 3 yrs ago — so I have been wearing some I kept from 18 years ago for the last year and they are ruining my eyes. I keep hoping for Lasik, but may have to settle for glasses again. I am weighing the pros and cons. Glasses at probably $800 or do the Lasik for $400 if I can. A coupon on Lasik would probably up the pros for it.
