On behalf of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) and its over 2.1 million members, I
write to support the American Families and Jobs Act. This comprehensive legislative proposal will
transform our economy, strengthen working families, grow family businesses, and safeguard American
innovation and competitiveness.
The American Families and Jobs Act addresses critical issues faced by society today and proposes
strategic measures to overcome them. This bill recognizes the importance of relieving financial burdens
on hardworking individuals, allowing them to keep more of their earnings and invest in their own
futures by providing certain tax reliefs. Tax relief would provide much-needed economic support, boost
consumer spending, and stimulate economic growth from the ground up.
Additionally, the bill emphasizes protecting American innovation and competitiveness. In today’s
rapidly evolving global economy, it is essential that we invest in research and development,
technological advancements, and the industries of the future. The American Families and Jobs Act
recognizes this need and proposes measures to support innovation, including tax incentives for
research and development activities and investments in workforce training and education. The bill’s
provisions help grow small and medium-sized businesses, the backbone of the American economy,
creating jobs and driving local development. This bill will empower these businesses to expand,
innovate, and thrive by providing targeted tax incentives and reducing regulatory burdens.
AMAC fully supports the American Families and Jobs Act and applauds Chairman Smith for leading the
