Dear Congressman Fulcher and Senator Paul,
On behalf of the 2.3 million+ members of AMAC – the Association of Mature American Citizens,
including over 2,700 residing in ID-01, and over 29,000 in Kentucky, I write to offer our support for H.R.
872, the “One Subject at a Time Act,” and its Senate companion, S. 110.
Passing the “One Subject at a Time” bills into law will make government more transparent, make
legislation easier to understand, and limit incomprehensible and potentially damaging omnibus bills.
This is a concept whose time is past due and an effort we appreciate you championing.
The salient elements to note are:
• These bills set their own example by addressing a single topic, in plain language, that a bill
should present only one subject at a time, and that the title of the bill accurately reflect the
content of the bill.
• These bills would prevent future appropriations bills from effecting law not associated with
those appropriations.
• A set of consequences are designed for violating the intent of these bills when they become law.
AMAC thanks you, Representative Fulcher, and Senator Paul, for your vision and leadership with
introducing this important legislation that would benefit all Americans. We are pleased to offer our
organization’s full support for H.R. 872 and S. 110, the “One Subject at a Time Act.”
Sincerely,
Bob Carlstrom

Make big government go away. Time to start over as stated in the documents of Gods rights.
Democrats want to control all Americans anyway they can. The Democratic Party has become a Socialist and Communist Organization, who only care about illegal immigrants and control!
Yes on item in a bill at a time. Eliminate pork belly.
Make it for everything, not just funding.
The criminal pile of kaka, obamacare, would never have passed.
Yes! It is necessary.
It would be nice to have transparency if only we could have the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the along with it.
YES!!!
Everyone needs to contact their congress reps and demand this be passed! Thanks to AMAC for your help in this matter!
Government MUST be transparent!
The last thing the Biden regime wants is transparency. And that’s the TRUTH!
I think that the DemocRat Party will put up a go-for-broke blockage to “more transparency” … and I’m not that sure the Republican politicos don’t have enough of a touch of “tenure disease” to give it a lot of honest support. YOU will never get a Constitutional Amendment putting term limits on Congresspersons unless it doesn’t have to pass thru the Congress to get approval. We would never have had a term limit on POTUS if the DemocRats in Congress had not got frustrated and impatient for FDR to step away so that they could have a shot at “King” for a quadrennial or longer.
Here Comes The ROOSTER. The SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST liberals will WHINE just like they always do but The ROOSTER is COMING and the BILL WILL PASS because there are those of us that DON’T BOW DOWN or CONFORM to their FASCISM for I AM AN AMERICAN AND PROUD OF IT. If you don’t like it then GET THE HELL OUT OF MY COUNTRY.
AMERICA, LOVE HER OR LEAVE.
