Yesterday, President Trump signed the Major Medical and Facility Authorization Act of 2020, a bill supported by the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC). AMAC represents more than 2.1 million seniors over the age of 50, many of whom are veterans. This important legislation will authorize funding to ensure veterans have access to the appropriate care they need through the Veterans Administration.
Bob Carlstrom, President of AMAC Action had this to say in support of the legislation: “This legislation, introduced by Senator Jerry Moran (KS), authorizes funding for the construction of medical facilities to better serve our veterans. The least we can do for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country is ensure they receive the best care possible in the most modern, up-to-date facilities available. AMAC Action is proud to see President Trump sign this important legislation.”
The Major Medical and Facility Authorization Act will fund important treatment centers including a spinal cord injury building with a community center and a critical care center in southern California, a new medical facility in Kentucky, and an outpatient clinic in northern California, among other projects.

President Trump is doing what he believes is in the best interests for the people in the United States.
