All states should make ballot harvesting ILLEGAL.

Ensure that all states, not just some, enact election reform legislation to avoid the fiasco of the 2020 elections from being repeated. Any state allowing mass mail-in voting, drop boxes, ballot harvesting, dropping any need to validate voter ID to cast a ballot, etc., is just opening itself up for voter fraud on a massive scale. Once that is done, then you can worry about what issues may or may not shape the 2022 mid-terms. Until then, it is pointless to pontificate over the 2022 elections.

That’s the message that I am sending to my Congressperson Jamal Bowman, that he needs to look at understand exactly what the election laws are in NYS and how they accomplish all the checklist required—extra voting days ( early voting) with secure places to drop off absentee ballots, ability to register to vote via an affidavit ballot form last minute at any polling place. No one is denying access to voting in NYS but the individual voter has to choose how to vote by themselves. He knows this and I remind him often, so he can discuss this directly with AOC, who is also a NYS congressperson.
