Sanctuary Cities Do Not Have a Mandate To Protect Criminal Illegals, says AMAC

WASHINGTON, DC  – “The last time I looked, aiding and abetting a criminal in the commission of a crime is, itself, a crime and the perpetrator is usually charged, arrested and held.  So, why are Mayors DeBlasio of New York City, Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles and their colleagues in so-called sanctuary cities across the nation not behind bars?  They should be arrested for being accessories in the crimes committed by illegal immigrants under their protection?”  That is the question on Dan Weber’s mind.

Weber is president of the Association of Mature American Citizens, the largest conservative watchdog organization for seniors.  He says the protection of illegal immigrants who have committed crimes is “indeed a crime and a preposterous stretch, even for leftist ideologues such as DeBlasio and Garcetti.  A Harvard–Harris poll conducted just last month showed that 80% of the country oppose sanctuary cities.  Obviously, there is bi-partisan support for President Trump’s efforts to protect American citizens from illegal immigrants who could do them harm.  Why?  Because the mayhem these criminals cause has become an almost daily occurrence.  Some pretty dastardly crimes have been committed by miscreant illegals that sanctuary cities and sanctuary states protect.”

Weber was referring to the arrest of an illegal charged with sexually attacking his girlfriend’s two-year-old daughter.  He also stabbed a woman outside of a local bar and then stabbed his girlfriend when she confronted him about the sexual abuse of her daughter.

“The man in this case, Tommy Alvarado-Ventura, is from El Salvador and has been deported four times for entering the country illegally.  He keeps coming back like a bad penny.  The incident occurred just two weeks ago in Nassau County in New York, State which established itself as a sanctuary state.  The Police Commissioner of Nassau County, Thomas Krumpter, told reporters that it was ‘probably the most heinous criminal act I’ve ever seen.’  But, it is probably even more of a criminal act on the part of some elected officials that they are willing to sacrifice the safety of law abiding residents in order to provide a safe haven for villains like Tommy Alvarado-Ventura.”

That vicious attack was no isolated incident, Weber notes.  He points to the pending case in Rockville, MD where two illegals from Guatemala who are 17 and 18 years old are set to stand trial charged with raping a 14 year old girl in a high school bathroom.  That arrest came as the city of Rockville was about to vote on whether to become a sanctuary city.  And, he says, Google the topic and you’ll find numerous such crimes that have been committed in every corner of the country.

“It is interesting to note that against this backdrop the Department of Homeland Security says that in a period of one week recently there were more than 200 instances of local authorities refusing requests to detain illegal immigrant criminals.  The madness must end lest the United States gains a reputation for being a safe haven for all manner of criminals.  If illegals from south of the border can set up their criminal enterprises in America so readily, what is stopping illegal ISIS terrorists from entering the country to wreak havoc?  The poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty reads ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.’  The invitation does not include malicious rapists and murderers.  Whether you voted for Mr. Trump or not it is shear insanity to oppose him on the issue of whether cities and states should cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities,” says Weber.

He adds that illegals also have a significant negative impact on our economy and cites a report issued by the Federation for American Immigration Reform claiming that undocumented aliens cost U.S. taxpayers some $100 billion a year.  Weber points out that senior citizens bear the brunt of that cost.  “Every dollar a sanctuary city or state spends on protecting illegals is a dollar that is not available to support services for the elderly.”

When will our law enforcement do their job? When they start enforcing the LAWS of our country, as other country’s enforce their laws, all our citizens will be safer. Put the SOBs, who are Mayors ( such as Rawlings of Dallas) etc. in jail if they do not abide by our laws. There should. E NO SANCUARY CITIES, send all ILLEGALS back wherever they had come from.

Why does everyone think illegal immigrants are escaping persecution from their country. They are just a bunch of felons evading the laws of the US. Their countries of orgin dont even know they exists. They have no skills, no education and no assets. We only need so many lettuce pickers and motel maids. AND if another mexican resturants open up in my neighborhood, im going to throw up. I have 6 mexican resturants within 3 or 4 minutes of my house. Thats walking minutes. Geez, dont we all need a break from this illegal immigrant thing?
Send back all the anchor babies too.

Any and all who support sanctuary cities, if not prosecuted, need to be assigned 5 each illegals to live in the houses of those officials, financially support them and accept whatever treatment they receive from said illegals. Let’s see then how much and how long the commitment continues. Further, their community forfeits all financial assistance they currently receive from the federal government for any and all activities within their communities, to include road repairs, educational assistance, welfare funding, food stamps, housing funding, and anything in any form that comes from monies outside their own budgets. Just saying, okay? IMHO these recommendations are a minimum punishment for refusal to support a law issued by the federal government.

It has come down to this my friends; Either STAND AND FIGHT or accept the brutality of the Socialist Democrats (like the National Socialist Party “NAZI” Party under Hitler) as they take over our country with the help of the corrupted news media. “I for one would rather die on my feet than live on my knees”. “We shall NEVER surrender!!”

The laws of OUR country need to be enforced now. If you are not a citizen, then you are illegal, American has legal ways to inter our country, so do it lawfully! This is insanity and will ruin our county. Now is the time to stand up, speak out, write letters, go to local public meeting, listen to what “our” elected officials are saying and doing. Then we need to speak out against what they are doing! You will find they are not going to go quietly, they will be nasty but there are many more citizens who believe as we do. Do not be afraid to speak out and fight back our country is worth it.

We have been busy working to make a living, raising our families, supporting our local, state and national government and now we have to fight back! We need to get rid of the “elite” group of people who are in local, state and National government who are ruining our country, there is still time but we need to stand up and fight back! In our state we have been hit very hard with very liberal Judges, mayors, city and county councils people, who then appoint many very liberal people to positions that make changes to local, county and state laws. The elected officials is were we start making changes then we demand recalls or firings of appointed persons. They are taking away our rights one by one and we must fight back and put a stop to this insanity. They may have already made changes in your local laws, (civil and private property) but it is not too late.

We are worth it, our country is worth it, our children and future generations are worth fighting for!!!! So get out, get involved and make our country great again.

Doesn’t the oath of office for all elected officials, whether they be federal, state, or local, include a section on upholding the Constitution and laws of the United States? I may be wrong about that, but if that’s the way it is then anyone in office who goes against it is guilty of perjury, and that is grounds for removal from office!

You don’t even mention how it damages the educational system with more money being put into those who do not understand English and taking time away from our own citizen children. This country spends more money on education than any other and and we are somewhere ranked around 35th on quality of education. Something is wrong with this picture.

The N.W.O. Mayors need to be arrested and charged with the crime(s) of “harboring felon(s)” ; jailed and fined.

In the early days, the American Farm Workers were unionizing the American Workers and the growers hated that process so much, they refused to hire the legal American Workers, and fired them as fast as they could. They crossed the border and hired the illegal aliens in Mexico, and then literally brought them back by bus. The road has been downhill ever since. Swift and Co also hire Mexican Butchers and fired the Americans Citizens.
The workers didn’t flee persecution: they were employed by American Business long before the so-called persecuted began arriving from Central America. The effect was to cut the legs out from under fledgling Unions efforts that would have made agriculture a decent place to work.
No.. and this is a tiny part of the very ugly story that may well come out now. But the Cities had an obligation to protect the American Citizen everywhere, and everyone. And they did not do it. It will be a sad blot that lives a long, long time on those people. Thank you Mr. Trump. We have seen justice since the late 1970’s. It will be hard to go back, but we must do that. Not a lot of people trust the growers at this point, but we must go back.

I am so sick and tired of all this illegal nonsense! The sanctuary cities need to lose their government funding and immediately deport the illegals. Seems like even with that they come right back because there seem to be no consequences for breaking the law. Our officers are in danger as well as citizens. This is a sad state of affairs and it makes me disgusted that everything President Trump does to want to protect the citizens of America as well as our country get blocked. I blame a lot of this on the media, but nevertheless, law enforcement needs to be beefed up and this nonsense stopped. Also, there is no need to “break up families”, as these families belong together in their own country. We are not responsible for illegals children.

The officials that release these criminals should be charged as accomplices before or after the fact and tried for aiding the criminal in his or her crime!!

All politicians that and law enforcement that are breaking the laws protecting ILLEGALS should prosecuted and lose their jobs. If I do anything they would arrest me ,fine me, and lock me up. Why should they do what they do and not have to pat the consequences??

ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL AND THE AMERICAN LEGAL TAX PAYERS SHOULD ALL STOP PAYING TAXES UNTIL EVERY ILLEGAL PERSON AND CROOKED POLITICIAN IS FORCED TO OBEY THE LAWS!

you shouldn’t become a citizen by being born here If the liberals want anyone to come in let them put their money where their mouth is let them adopt families and be responsible

I’m 100% with Rik, NO ONE is above the law. ANYONE who participates in the activity of sanctuary cities is first harboring a fugitive…last I heard that was against the law. And those who stop ICE from doing their jobs and protecting those who have committed new felonies are standing in the way of justice (can’t think of the legal term) but that also is a felony.
President Trump needs to really set Jeff Sessions on them and let him do HIs Job. I’m sure he’d be happy to prosecute a few crooked politicians.

Dan:
Alex Mashall, a Governing columnist and a Senior Fellow at the Regional Plan Association in New York City his the nail on the head with his March 10, 20117 article.
He says “there is an easier, less violent and almost cheaper way to secure our borders. Simply enforce the laws that are already on the books that prohibit employers from hiring people who are not here legally. He suggests making e-verify mandatory and hiring more federal clerks (versus border guards) to be sure employers are not hiring illegals. He also notes that the 1986 Immigration and Reform Act, which organized labor pushed for, make it illegal to hire someone who is not in the U.S. legally. Employers were required (and still are) to collect an I-9 form attesting to employment eligibility from every worker. They are not doing it and the Feds have not enforced it. Work visas are available for tech workers but no one is enforcing their time limits. And, because we all like cheap labor and cheap goods, we all look the other way. I thought his article offered some good ideas especially his conclusion … “Both liberals and conservatives should be able to agree that illegal employment is the real problem.
