I think worse in than him falling of a bike, is him reading off a note card at an event, when to sit down, when to talk and what to say.
One well-known “conservative pundit” always says “99%” of the FBI are good people. It can’t be that high. Otherwise, low-level agents would REFUSE to carry out illegal orders like SWATting people like Navarro and most J6 people who pose NO THREAT to arresting officers. That argument didn’t work at Nuremburg!
But it does now in our two tiered justice system. Agreed the rot is far deeper than widely believed. Those who hope that fed swat teams will lay down their arms at illegal orders are dreaming. Those that do will face severe consequences. Being fired , fines, maybe jail, loss of pension. These are powerful motivations to grin and bear it. After the first few arrests it will become routine.
Correct! Never forget the speech by General Milley, when he held up the letter signed by every single member of the Armed Service Committee leadership declaring their loyalty to HIM over their oath to the Constitution of the United States. The same mentality permeates every single federal department and agency. This is why the Democrats have no fear of a pushback from American citizens.
Perfectly stated Paul…
Bill… :~)
you are right numbers don’t add up until i heard that they along with defense department employees retirements are being held unless they knuckle under.
p.s. we’re “not allowed to vote for this comment.”
We’ve always had subversives and wackos around. But, what I’m seeing out there today is a bit scary. There are Way more of them than could be imagined, and they are seemingly very well organized and being controlled by a central source that is well funded. Ask yourself: How do “flash mobs” just happen? They don’t. Who’s paying for these “peaceful protesters” to be transported, housed, fed, given professionally printed signs, and paid? That takes a helluva lot of cash and logistical planning!
Having dealt with reams of Leftists while in the Tea Party, I can tell you from hard experience that they cannot be reasoned with. The propaganda they have been fed has metastasized and eaten away their brains. They have also been programmed to react violently when “triggered” by certain words, symbols, or if someone is identified as not on “their side.” They have made themselves into our enemy and declared war on us. So, the question is— Are we to just allow ourselves to be conquered, or are we going to fight? There is no alternative.
Excellent comment and all completely accurate. As to the “There are Way more of them than could be imagined” part, that’s what we get for having so many people in this country that just chose to ignore or not even acknowledge the growing presence of socialism / communism in our country for the last 5 or 6 decades. It would have been relatively simple to weed out the infestation back then. Now unfortunately, we’ve gone well past the point where indirect approaches would prove effective. We’ve gone from having a small number of “subversives and wackos” with little ability to influence much of anything to several whole states now being governed by the sons and daughters of the late 50s early 60s extremists.
In that space of time, we also ignored the fact that our public education system was co-opted since the creation of the Department of Education to become a huge, “progressive” (socialist) indoctrination process to churn out millions of useful idiots. The worst of which can barely string together a couple of coherent sentences and are triggered by anything and anyone who even appears to not be fully aligned with their every belief. I agree, there is no reasoning with the most extreme cases, who seem to exist solely to scream and protest about everything.
The same folks financing the so-called flash mobs for protests and riots are the same ones financing the chartered buses that are ferrying tens of thousands to illegals from central and south America up to our border with Mexico every day. The same folks are financing feeding and clothing these people for their entire journey, just like their handling transporting hundreds or thousands of protestors all around the country with whatever they need to stage whatever sort of “event” (protest, riot, siege) necessary.
After the 2020 riots, I too began to look at all this as a highly coordinated effort being bankrolled and logistically supported by people with some very deep pockets and access to tons of resources on very short notice. Based on how well all of these things are organized and run, it’s not a single person financing all this, but rather multiple groups acting in concert to handle all the complex logistics and resources involved. The dollar figure to finance all these combined operations runs into the tens of millions per week to maintain this sort of organized effort on multiple fronts. I have my suspicions as to who some of the players might be and their motives for doing all this, but there is of course no way to verify any of it.
Finally as to your question of whether most Americans will simply sit by and allow themselves to be conquered or will they fight back, I have to say my sense is most Americans today neither have the will nor the stomach to fight back for anything anymore. Most people seem content to just hope everything just goes away somehow or “someone else” will fight their battles for them. That of course is not a strategy to accomplish much of anything. What do you think?
Hi Paul, so glad to read a spot-on comment from a kindred spirit.
I get burned-up when I hear that the corrupt DOJ/FBI axis would rather go after parents raising objections to their kids’ indoctrination at school board meetings, than cracking down on all the subversive operators present in our country right now. And the media… forget about it! With very few exceptions, true investigative journalism is dead.
When DHS simply issues a warning to institutions & small businesses to “be prepared” for violent rioting in the wake of the SCOTUS decision on Roe, but announces no plans to deal with the lawless scum, you gotta know they give their tacit support to what’s to come.
Oh, forgive me, I forgot their resources are stretched to the limit processing & releasing all the Illegals the Progressive-Socialists(that’s You, Mayorkas!) are allowing to flood into the country.
Listen, after being active politically for a long time, I was of a mind to hang it up. I was of the opinion that there’s no end to it; it just keeps rolling-on, one issue after another, one putrid politician after another. It’s exhausting and wears one out. But, isn’t that just what the Left is counting on? Gotta hand it to them, they are relentless in pursuit of their goals.
However, after moving to NC and finding that both U.S. Senators are fifth-column RINO’s, plus having a P-S as governor, I cannot in good conscience sit idly by. So, count me in for the fight!! I also think many military vets will stand and rally. At least those vets who were in the service before you could be court-martialed for using the “wrong” pronoun.
Where I live, you’ll find those very same people Obama said were “clinging to their guns & Bibles.” Yep. Count them in, too. None of the s**t you hear in the media goes down around here, no sir!
(keep feeding me coffee and I’ll ramble-on all day) :-)
As usual extremely insightful PaulE. To possibly support some of your thinking I have evolved a theory based upon some things that I have been reading. There just may be more than Left or Right actions. One Facet is a Top to Bottom situation. The Elites are at the top of the influence pyramid and using the “middle class” as useful idiots while pulling the puppet strings. When change occurs, it must come from the bottom up.
Hi Art,
What you are essentially decribing is the WEF gathering each year in Davos, Switzerland. It’s a gathering of most of the world leaders, along with the largest collection of mostly leftist billionaires gathered in one place at any other time, to strategize on the direction to take the world in the coming 12 months. Think of it as a global business plan for the coming year of the planet.
Topics covered include directions for the global economy (what to finance and what to restrict funding to in order to continue the overall globalist agenda), global heathcare (topics in this area cover everything from vaccine development and profit margins, long-term research updates on various projects already in motion, discussions of human productivity by regions of the planet, etc.), global energy policy (selectively suppress oil, natural gas and nuclear in favor of wind and solar power to enhance investment returns in the so-called green energy space) and several other topics related to global manufacturing, supply chains, transportation initiatives, AI, robotics and human capital costs by world region. It’s all quite enlightening, when you drill down in the details, in explaining why we have certain governmental policies that clearly are counter to long-term interests of most of the people around the world. Unfortunately, most people have little interest in a lot of this until they are faced with the results and by then it is far too late for them to do much about it.
The United States is just about the last vestige of personal rights and freedoms on this planet and the vast majority of the people in this country no longer seem to have either the will or the stomach to push for positive change on a long-term basis. The best we seem to be able to muster these days is some outrage for a few days or maybe a few weeks and then most people lose interest and move on to the next shiny object placed before them by either the MSM or the politicians that are part of the game.
Excellent summation Paul… I will say this, dry up the money sources is one place to start, i.e. the George Soros Open Society Foundation networks he personally put 18 billion dollars into, this should by default take his son Alex out of the picture too. Shutdown the Obama connected NGO’s in this nation, those non-profit organizations are what paid the Mules salaries for the ballot dumps across the nation, particularly in those ( 5 ) key states illustrated clearly in the documentary, 2000 Mules by Dinesh D’Souza…
Deport George Soros from this nation & NEVER allowed him to return, this includes all of his younger family members currently in charge of many of his Open Society organizations that number somewhere between ( 50 ) & ( 75 ) Marxist driven organizations.
The Ford Foundation is another one that is problematic, not forgetting the Clinton Foundation…Dry up those money sources from paying off the DA’s in every major Democrat run city in this nation would result in keeping these violent, woke offenders in jail for a very long time rather than getting released within 24 hours or less with NO cash bail & returning to what got them arrested in the first place… Is it a monumental task?, yes…Can it be done under the current political climate?, probably not…Can it be done after the Nov midterms assuming the Red Wave does indeed happen?, that is a loaded question considering the RINO factor within the Halls of Congress & all of those supposed patriotic Republicans that aren’t quite RINO’s but prefer to look the other way by ” going along to get along. ” The variables of how this can or will not happen is quite staggering in truth as only time will tell on this particular score…
All the best,
Bill… :~)
Hi Bill,
Everything you describe requires action by a combination of the Department of Justice, FBI, SEC, FTC and several other executive branch agencies to accomplish what you are describing. That means acting under direct orders of the POTUS. Given that the vast majority of the federal government is comprised of Democrats, most of these agencies will NOT act even under orders from a Republican POTUS, as we saw with both the DOJ and FBI when it came to releasing information they both had about the origin of the phony Russian collusion hoax perpetrated by Hilary Clinton all the way back in 2017. All these agencies will drag their feet and do nothing until a Democrat is once again POTUS.
Congress has NO enforcement powers to do anything you describe here. They can’t order any federal department or agency under the executive branch to do anything except have their heads appear before Congress to testify once a year and that is a joke unto itself. We’ve both seen how those staged hearings always play out. Lots of photo ops, but zero positive results. That’s been the case for decades and it is frankly boring to watch at this point.
The sole powers of Congress are the power of the purse to fund the government, via annual budget requests, and draft legislation for submission to the POTUS for his signature or veto. That’s it. All these hearings the Republicans keep promising after they regain the majority will amount to nothing but theater, because all they can do at the end of the day is refer matters to the DOJ for further action and the DOJ ALWAYS declines to do anything with anything submitted by Republican members of Congress.
Both McConnell and McCarthy have stated numerous times at this point, that they are opposed to shutting down the government or even a single department or agency to force the President to change course on any policies. So they are surrendering their only effective tool to implement change. Yes, I know the MSM and the Democrats will blame the Republicans for any government shutdown, but the Republican Party needs to learn how to articulate their rationale for such an action much better than either “The Turtle” or McCarthy have done in the past. Until that point, the only positive benefit we are likely to see from flipping the Congress from Democrat to Republican, as long as a Democrat occupies the WH, is we hopefully, unless we get enough RINOs in the House “walking across the aisle” to support the Democrat agenda, won’t see any more insane spending bills from Pelosi.
The activist left are the walking dead. As you say, they cannot be reasoned with anymore than the zombies on the famous series. Ill go further and add ordinary leftists. In my experience they cant be reasoned with either. In fact, its quite difficult to have a civil conversation with them. I attended the first tea party rally in my area in 09. It was wonderfully cathartic. Same with the nov 2020 stop the steal rally in dc. We all know that the tea parties faded away and we all know what happened to the 1/6 people. My point: how to fight this. Another rally movement will stimulate the walking dead to counter. There will be violence. The lying commie media will blame us. The time to effectively neutralize the left has passed. Remember, anyone who vociferously warned of domestic communism was ridiculed and lambasted by so called conservatives back in the day. Everything was fine. Reagan will save us. To summarize: my belief is that things will need to get much much worse before theres even a possibility of fighting the communists. Till then we drift towards the election and blindly hope there comes a red wave and not too many of them turn out to be rinos.
The old expression– “Fight fire with Fire” — might be appropriate at this time. The Left are not Liberals anymore, they have all morphed into Progressive-Socialists, or at least the ones that still have some semblance of sanity dare not oppose them.
That said, we need to elect radicals to office from our own ranks. I’m not talking about what the P-S’s and their media comrades refer to. They point to neo-Nazis and other fascists, who are actually Socialists, and toss them in with Conservatives to convince their moronic base that we’re bedfellows with them. No, I mean we need determined, principled firebrands with the fortitude to trounce the P-S’s. Right now, there’s only a handful like that in the GOP, with most being squishy, self-serving compromisers. Those are the same Swamp Creatures, but on the other side of the aisle.
If it gets “much, much worse,” as you say, it’ll be too late to stop it. We’ve already started a downhill descent. Right now, we can still push it back up the hill, but once it gains momentum and gets bigger there’ll be no stopping the roll to the bottom. In that case, keep yer powder dry!
We have to stand out ground. They are brave in groups but get them alone they cower! Fight like hell!
