The 1100 page bill contains numerous questionable or unconstitutional restrictions on how the wall money can be used, where the wall can NOT be built and lots of restrictions designed to impede both the Border Patrol and ICE.
Not surprising, as the Democrats and more than a few RINO’s don’t want to slow or eliminate the flow of illegal immigrants, drugs and criminals into our country. This is NOT something new. This has been going on in Washington since the Democrats first successfully tricked Reagan into granting amnesty to 3 million illegals BEFORE doing anything in the way of securing the border as they promised.
So now President Trump has done what he promised to do, if the Congress would not deal in good faith. He has declared a national emergency and will spend $8 billion dollars on building the wall. No doubt we will hear lots of screaming and ranting from the Democrats and RINO’s in Congress and the 9th Circuit Court will issue the usual stay order to try and delay any construction. Ultimately when the case gets to the SC, the President will prevail. Just a crying shame that this has become the standard, go-to tactic used by the left to impede any validly constitutional actions the President takes after Congress proves, yet again, that they are both incapable and unwilling to perform their constitutional duties in defense of the American people.
