Rebecca Weber: Hello everyone, I’m Rebecca Weber, the CEO of AMAC. As we reflect on this past year, it is impossible to ignore how much our country went through. But throughout both the ups and the downs: God was, and is alive. He is real. And he hears your prayers.
We find in scripture, in 2 Chronicles, chapter 7, verse 14, If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. So knowing this, we can live with a sense of peace that surpasses all understanding.
Turning again to Scripture, in Philippians 4 6, we are told, Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds. in Christ Jesus. Now this gives us tremendous hope.
When my father formed AMAC in 2007, he recognized that our nation was founded on Christian Judeo principles and the reliance of the providence of God. These principles combine our faith and morality to form the basis for our liberty. As a matter of fact, the first act of America’s First Continental Congress in 1774 was to ask a minister to open with prayer and lead Congress in the reading of four chapters of the Bible.
As Calvin Coolidge once stated, We live in an age of science and of abounding accumulation of material things. These did not create our declaration. Our declaration created them. The things of the spirit come first. Unless we cling to that, all of our material prosperity, overwhelming though it may appear, will turn to a barren scepter in our grasp.
We here at AMAC are humbled before God, knowing that God is in command and is the author of our lives. That feeling of hope, of brightness and cheer resonates with all of us at AMAC. We understand how distracting politics might be, so we encourage you to think of all that can be restored in our country and all that there is to look forward to in 2025.
And we thank you, over 2 million AMAC members, for all of the great work that you do to help preserve the values that make America the greatest nation on Earth. I am honored to serve you and we thank you for joining us as we overcome evil with good. May God bless you, and your families, throughout this entire holiday season.
We wish you a Merry Christmas, a very Happy Hanukkah, and a safe and prosperous New Year.
