The dam may finally break in Cuba. On July 11, tens of thousands of Cubans took to the streets for the first time since the 1990s to try to bring an end to the suffering caused by the communist regime that has ruled their country for more than six decades. Living conditions in the island nation, which were already miserable before, have only been made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic.
