Park Service: Illegals Destroying Federal Lands, Unsafe for Camping

from – Washington Examiner – by Paul Bedard

Illegal immigration and drug running have destroyed border parklands, further threatened two species on the endangered list and led federal officials to bar visitors and campers in areas considered too dangerous to visit, according to newly released reports.

In studies of two parks that make up less than 90 miles of the Arizona-Mexico border, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service said that the areas have been ripped up with thousands of miles of unauthorized roads from vehicles that have crushed plants and animal habitat…

I live in an agricultural area of Washington State. The majority of the Hispanics workers do not give a hill-of-beans for the environment or this country. I have picked up trash, obviously left by Hispanics, from desert lakes, along roadsides and have found them and their vehicles in areas posted “no vehicle,” areas which they trash, too. We have had wildlife enforcement officers in gun fights with illegals and our laws, from traffic laws to felony laws, are completely disregarded by a large segment of the Hispanic population. In most cases, game wardens do not bother to ticket Hispanics anymore for violations because they do not pay their fines and when the officers try to run them down they find that most use alias’ and false address. The cost in time and resources is not worth the small amount a fine generates. Needless to say, if a fine can’t be collected then there is no disincentive to follow the law. They are a burden to our society, costly to the tax payer – they pay diddly-squat in taxes despite what is claimed by their “defendants,” but they enrichen big ag and the vineyard/wine folks so the organized fiscal power reign. Talk about destruction of the land and environment, no one has done more to destroy the environment and ecological evolution than the ag industry, and they want to keep their cheap labor.

How about having illegals who are caught crossing the border assigned to work teams to repair and restore the damaged areas, then returned to their home country.

I lived 6 miles from the Mexican boarder in New Mexico about 45 years ago. There was Illegal entry to this country at that time, but by far most of it was poor people trying to enter to work to provide a better life for themselves and family, and suffering a great deal to do so. At that time my father said it was not so much the people entering the country as the government letting them do so. To day we are at a point that we can no longer let people steal their way in for the sake of national security, and the fact that this illegal activity has caused much more illegal activity in the form of drugs and the ones who transport and sell them.

Unfortunately, this is what they do … Take a look at their country, and you’ll see the same thing. They have no morals and no concern for the environment. When they ruin one area, they migrate to another, to repeat the cycle. They bring filth, and ignorance everywhere they go, and ruin nearly everything they touch. I think they should all be sent back to where they came from. Why do I feel so strongly about illegal immigration? Because I have been there. I am sorry to say that never in my life, have I encountered a people so unmotivated as the Mexicans. Half of the people down there, never even go to school, so many are illiterate. Why we would want them, here, is beyond me. As tax-paying Americans, we can barely support ourselves; we don’t need illegal immigrants, and their multitudinous offspring living off our hard-earned taxes. They have no intention of educating themselves, once they arrive here, or of working, nor do they aspire to become citizens of these United States. They contribute absolutely nothing to our economy or our way of life.

Conversely, I applaud any immigrant who comes to this country for the opportunity to have a better life than they one they left behind. Those who are motivated to work, pay taxes, and educate themselves are to be admired. But those who are just looking for a free lifestyle should go back to where they came from, and stop expecting the American public, (whom they absolutely, hate), to provide for them.

This “stuff is really VERY simple: enforce the laws!
I am constantly amazed by all the rhetoric addressing something that is really very simple.

So WE allow these folks to enter our nation and THEY are the ignorant ones? Time for a re-think on that opinion. P.S. You obviously have never picked fruit or vegetables because it is not white folks doing that work. THINK before you post.

Kathy, I am very sorry you stereo type all, and by your post you must not know any of the people you post about or you would not say they are ALL living off our tax dollars. The ones living off of them are the ones who hire them and either don’t pay them or expect to only pay $5 a day for their labor. There are many well educated Mexican 2nd generation people that have aspired to positions of leadership both in government and private business. Illegal is criminal and as such should not be allowed, but there are many reasons why people in Mexico are not educated, with most being no access to schools, very poor (not poor by American standards, but starvation poor), and a socialist government, that truly only exists for the well off.

Yes, this is bad, but Texas is an open sieve for illegals. Furthermore, that border crossing is used by Muslim terrorists according to police and army reports. Protecting animals is one thing, but protecting us is going to take a lot more diligent effort..

I would like to know WHY all the years & years & years of CONFISCATED DRUG MONEY, VEHICLE MONEY, & whatever else IS NOT
BEING USED TO BUILD THE WALL ……although I’d much prefer a 30′ HIGH & 30′ DEEP woven ELECTRIC FENCE that would hopefully
prevent the tunneling & such. WHERE DID ALL THAT “FREE” MONEY GO TO? I’d imagine politicians, crooked cops & high upper end
dealers pockets ……………..? Sad that a suggestion of this nature will never ever go beyond this discussion. :(

If you are so concerned about ‘crooked cops’ why don’t YOU become a police officer and show us all how it SHOULD be done? Put up or shut up.

I was one following in my dad’s footsteps…he was a detective, served 25 years, I served from 1970-2000
with 17 yrs in the jail division. Politics & changes in leadership have taken their toll since…we weren’t
“police,” but county sheriff’s officers. It’s my opinion that law enforcement can only do so much as
they’re “allowed” to do depending on who’s at the helm, where they’re at & what they’re sworn in
to do … aside from that … zip … & then there’s the alleged prosecuting attorneys office …. hmmm.

Judy the key here is money. Most people running for political office use other peoples money to do so. That money mostly comes from large donations from ranchers, manufacturing companies and others interested in maintaining their agenda. There is nothing more powerful than donating money to make more money, and if making sure you have CHEAP labor for your business comes to mind, well you can figure out the rest. The police on the street (at least the ones I knew in New Mexico) were required to uphold the law, not make up the law and could only do as the elected office holders would allow with in the law. You would not want to walk in a police officers shoes when trouble was at hand.

Your’e absolutely right on also. Pretty sad state of affairs, huh? It’s always been “about the money” no matter
what arena of life you’re in at that moment. I’m just grateful to those who continue on in the profession with
the blessings from Above until they reach the end of their shift/career. It continues to be amazing how the
deterioration of a once proud profession continues from the top of the top to the small towns
across the nation which is hand in hand with the atmosphere of the nation these days.

Over half of undocs come from visa permits:

http://go2.judicialwatch.org/click/fca19-a9c8fi-1wpxszk5/

More than half of the undocumented people living in the U.S. entered the country with visas that expired, according to a report issued this month by a New York-based think tank dedicated to studying international migration.

It will take more then just a physical barrier, it will take the same kind of technology they use around Area 51.

This kind of illegal crap is one of the reasons for private citizens to arm themselves and ammo up. BUILD THE DAMN WALL. EXTREME VETTING OF ALL ILLEGALS FROM 2000 TIL NOW. MORE ICE AND CBP AGENTS. THE ILLEGAL PROBLEM CREATS $Ts OF WASTE AND AGONY IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS AND WELFARE STATE. DAMN IT, THE LIBERTARDS NEED TO GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR AR$$Es AND SEE THE LIGHT.

Unfortunately, Sierra Club has become a leftist organization, even supporting Planned Parenthood. With that said, because there is a tie between park destruction and illegal aliens, they choose to side with the illegal aliens. This is why I ended my support for the Sierra Club.

The Sierra (aka “Lenin”) Club only cares if they can make money from it; impune the Republican Party; or destroy the lives of Conservative American Citizens. All “good” communists and other America haters are immune from the wrath of the “Lenin” Club.
