“History will figure that out on its own.” That is what Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) recently replied to Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
In a heated congressional exchange, Fauci derided the idea that the COVID-19 pandemic was due to the leak of a dangerous virus, engineered in the Chinese Wuhan virology lab – and in part funded by U.S. health agencies, on the prompt of Fauci himself.
I do believe history will grind out the truth…but will the truth be allowed to be distributed? Social media is enthusiastically policing the virtual public square, and sadly only allowing their version of history to be circulated. I won’t give up on speaking & “writing” out while I still can…but it is disturbing to witness the suppression of information and truth.

While history may indeed grind out the truth eventually, that does little for the millions of people around the world that have died due to Dr. Fauci’s obfuscation of the truth and his role in funding the Chinese virology lab from which the Covid -19 virus was created and escaped. I’m less concerned that yet another government official has problems telling the truth, as that is sadly an endemic problem in Washington, D.C., than someone with so many deaths on his hands is being protected by “the swamp”. That Dr. Fauci is still in a position of authority within our government just demonstrates how much house cleaning needs to done within our government bureaucracy to restore some sense of personal accountability to the system.
I haven’t watched the fake news since 2016, because truth is healthier for the soul.
