Ramaswamy Vows to Unleash Historic Government Transparency Modeled After Musk’s ‘TWITTER Files’

Vivek Ramaswamy American entrepreneur participated in the 2024 Republican Presidential debate.

Elon Musk unmasked troubling social media censorship with his release of the “Twitter files.” Now Vivek Ramaswamy, the upstart GOP presidential contender, is vowing to unleash similar transparency and accountability across government if elected to the White House.

“On day one, we will release what I call the state action files,” Ramaswamy told Just the News on the first night of a 2024 election town hall interview series sponsored by the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) and televised nationwide on the Real America’s Voice network.

In a wide-ranging interview co-hosted by Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon and AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber, Ramaswamy delved into his plans for combatting China, ending the Ukraine war peacefully, reinvigorating U.S manufacturing, reducing inflation and crime and making college and energy more affordable.

“Let’s have a reasonable path to peace,” Ramaswamy said.when asked about ending the war in Ukraine. “Make a permanent commitment that NATO will not admit Ukraine to NATO, but in return, require Russia to exit its military partnership with China. Now that weakens China. Now, Xi Jinping is gonna have to think twice before going after Taiwan.”

“Because right now, Xi Jinping’s bet is that the U.S. won’t want to go to war with Russia and China at the same time,” he explained. “But if Russia is no longer treaty bound with China, then Xi Jinping has to at least think twice before going for Taiwan.”

While doubling down on his promise to shrink the federal bureaucracy by 70%, the successful tech entrepreneur and author said it was also important to restore confidence in government from public health to the FBI by releasing troves of previously sealed information on everything from Ukraine war spending to corruption.

“It’s the equivalent of what Elon Musk did at Twitter with the Twitter files,” he said  “Any time a government actor has pressured a private company to do through the backdoor what the government couldn’t do through the front door, we will publish it so that everybody can see it,”

”We will roll that log over and see what crawls out. We will bring honesty back to the government. Tell them the truth – not just when it’s easy. But when it is hard,” he added

Last year in an attempt to show transparency on prior censorship,  Musk gave independent reporters access to files that showed communications between government officials and X employees that showed alleged censorship and suppression of certain stories such as the Hunter Biden laptop.

Ramaswamy said that an example of what would also be shown in these “state action files” would include how money is being spent in Ukraine.

“Embracing that principle of truth and candor with the American people –that’s what I’m going to bring to the table,” he stated.

Ramaswamy is the first millennial to run for U.S. president as a Republican and has made a lot of his messaging towards young people and bringing back American pride.

He vowed to eliminate the U.S. Education Department and return monies and powers to the states while requiring voters to pass a civics test like new citizens do in order to vote in elections.

“Young people are not proud of a country that they’re taught to hate, especially when they haven’t learned the basics about that country,” he stated during the interview. “So my view is every high school senior who graduates from 12th grade should be able to pass the same civics test that every immigrant has to pass in order to become a voting citizen of this country. That’s what our founding fathers envisioned.”

He also said that America is lacking in a national identity.

“When I’m elected, it’s my responsibility to reach that next generation and revive our missing national identity,” Ramaswamy said. “What does it mean to be an American? If you ask most young people that question today, you get a blank stare in response.”

Ramaswamy is a self-described political outsider who has led successful multi billion dollar companies as a tech entrepreneur. He said that while he respects former President Donald Trump, he thinks it is time for a new leader.

“I will honor Donald Trump and his legacy as I have in this campaign,” he said. “I will continue to do that as the U.S. president more than anybody else will. But I will reunite this country and reach the next generation in the process, because I am from that next generation.”

This is all talk, he has no real concept on how the swamp operates, it will devour him from inside out. He figures to help divide the political party and keep the Left in power.

X is still censoring. Don’t be fooled. I’m a staunch conservative and have had my account banned and shut down. Apparently, my words must have been hitting home to be banned. Transparency in this country is gone, and it’s not coming back. Censorship is here to stay. They will ask day what you want to hear until they get in power.

Ramaswamy would be smart to try to become Trump’s vice presidential candidate. After serving as Trump’s VP, he would then have front runner status after Trump’s term. I would have liked DeSantis to be Trump’s VP but he’s a little short sighted in my opinion.
