Bucks County Commissioners Vote to Count Illegal Ballots as Pennsylvania Senate Race Heads for Recount

Bucks County, Pa., commissioners have voted to count ballots lacking proper signatures as the Pennsylvania Senate race heads to an automatic recount due to the razor-thin margin by which GOP Senator-elect Dave McCormick has beaten incumbent Senator Bob Casey.

The 2-1 vote of the commissioners board violates a state Supreme Court ruling issued earlier this year and goes against the advice of the board’s legal team, which advised against counting the 124 illegal ballots.

Board chairman Robert Harviie, Jr. and Diane Marseglia voted to accept ballots that voters signed in one section but not another after Democrats challenged the decision not to count the ballots.

“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws anytime they want,” Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”

Meanwhile, Philadelphia city commissioners voted to count a “relatively small number of undated and incorrectly dated mail ballots.”

“Republicans filed a petition to the PA Supreme Court against all counties to attempt to stop all counties from counting these ballots,” the commissioners said in a statement to Fox News. “They also filed a statutory appeal challenging Bucks County’s decision to count undated and incorrectly dated mail ballots. We are reviewing the filings.”

The Associated Press called the race for McCormick on November 7. McCormick, an Army combat veteran and former hedge fund CEO, led Casey 48.9 percent of the vote to 48.5 percent of the vote, with 99 percent of the vote counted.

With less than 24,000 votes separating the candidates, Casey has declined to concede.

McCormick spokesperson Elizabeth Gregory previously said in a statement to Fox News that Casey does not have the votes to overcome the Republican’s lead.

“Senator-elect McCormick’s lead is insurmountable, which the AP made clear in calling the race,” Gregory said in a statement. “A recount will be a waste of time and taxpayer money but it is Senator Casey’s prerogative. Senator-elect McCormick knows what it’s like to lose an election and is sure Senator Casey will eventually reach the right conclusion.”

The race is now subject to an automatic recount, which is triggered by state law if a candidate’s margin of victory is no more than 0.5 percent of total votes cast.

Counties are now tasked with beginning their recount by November 20 and are given until November 27 to report their results. The recount is expected to cost taxpayers more than $1 million.

In four previous automatic recounts triggered under the state law, which passed in 2004, the initial results of the election were ultimately affirmed.

Republicans will retake the Senate regardless of the race’s outcome, though with McCormick’s projected win, the party would control the upper chamber with 53 seats.

While Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) at first did not invite McCormick to the new-senator orientation this week, he ultimately relented under pressure from Republican senators.

Not surprising in the least. Democrats always fall back on the tried-and-true methods of cheating to “win” elections they’ve lost. So, ballots are unsigned, undated or both. All Democrats care about is being able to add those ballots to the totals for their candidate by whatever means necessary. Counting and then re-counting some more, until the outcome gives the election to the Democrat candidate is SOP. Just look at the fiasco the country just witnessed in Arizona of 9 days of counting to, once again, come up with the Democrat candidate as “the winner”. As I said, I’m not surprised in the least that this nonsense is going on in PA.

This action by the Demonrats just proves how completely immoral and devoid of character that they are really about! I believe that the Trump PAC will not take this lying down. They want to fight? The fight has barely begun!

Outrageous!!! These “progressives” are beyond depraved. They lied and lied trying to make many believe that Trump would end “Democracy” while they totally ignored our Constitution and used the DOJ to harass and arrest innocent people and try to jail Trump for life. It is amazing how many stupid people live in this country and believed them. Allowing illegal alien’s votes to be counted is just another slap in our faces!!

Now what, they’ll be counting and recounting until they “win”? This is the same old they’ve pulled with Biden. Have they not learned anything, how much lower can they sink? Now is the time to accept Trump’s victory, their own loss and move on. Perhaps get rid of old meddlers who know the best and unstable agitators who know even better. Neither did the party any good. They repulsed the voter.

Sue the pants off of them. What they have voted to do is illegal according to their own state supreme court.

If “democrats” truly believe in “Democracy” (how’s THAT for a hypothetical ??), and desire an image that resembles something other than “wannabe fascist”, then, obeying election laws is highly advisable. In fact, it’s a bit hard to believe I’m actually seeing and responding to this well-written article, given the balloting fraud (that there is even compelling video evidence of, from only 4 years ago… ) plus, an overabundance of ballots in 2020 that exceeded even this year’s vote count by, reportedly, around 5 million. That’s some VERY dishonest stuff, that, actually, resulted in an obstructed election and a false Presidency – with an incompetent “President” who did unprecedented harm to our nation. If “Democrats” truly want to make more friends, within their own party or across the aisle, they might consider some heavily modified courses of action that DON’T result in additional, widespread contemplations of “Who do they think they’re kidding?!”. BTW, it wouldn’t hurt for “democrats” to finally toss their communism aspirations… which, especially, as of late, have been as conspicuous as body excrement on a fashion show runway…. Not that I want to hurt anyone’s feelings, of course, but, communism really has, repeatedly, been exposed as the most undesireable and inhumane form of “governance” that human beings have ever endured… while, also, having been chosen by “democrats” as their target form of “governance”, as the draconian “order” of communism maximizes the advantage for “democrats” who want to to stay in power while continuously misapplying their authority. One way for “democrats” to get started in a more “marketable” direction would be to exhibit a less “controlaholic” legislative disposition that leaves no one with head movies of Peter the Great or Joseph Stalin. This means no forced community housing ( a la Agenda 21), no politically-motivated restraints on commerce, transportation or energy production/transmission, no confiscation of earned income, no government sponsorship of organized crime, sexual mutilation of minors, revocation of parents’ rights, fixations on “transgender sports”, and, also, avoiding the “Tianamin Square response” to those who might “mistake” certain practitioners of despotic behaviors for “a55holes”.
The above-listed issues are not all-inclusive, and I hope this rambling monolog is helpful in some way.

Cheating is the only way Democrats can win. Because they can not win on the issues.

Anything not properly signed or from illegals should be thrown out, plain and simple. Stop beating a dead horse.

Casey endorsed the Bucks County Board, the same board that is handling the recount. Casey also thinks the votes from unregistered voters should count. He is a weasel who has been riding on his father’s coattails for far too long.

Bob Casey is a do nothing Senator. Always has been. Time to do the right thing for once Bob – conceded!

I feel that, if the ballots lacking a proper make a difference in the outcome, the signatures should be validated by the voter! Otherwise, it’s an unnecessary expense.
