Mass murder and a tale of two worldviews

The reaction to the Arizona murders this past week showcased the starkly different world views of liberals and conservatives. For nearly a week, we watched liberal journalists, politicians and pundits explain the reasons for this tragedy. It was the “vitriolic” political climate.. It was the mental health system. It’s the gun laws of America that are to blame, Tom Brokaw explained on The Today Show.

I was waiting for some to blame video games. Or football. Or even dodge ball!

But not one liberal of any prominence placed full responsibility on the man who committed this act of violence. Not one called this an act of evil by a bad man. Indeed, liberals don’t like the words good or evil. They avoid those words because they imply some kind of universal truth or standard. Liberals instead search for the “root causes” of such acts. Just as they do for crime in general. And even the acts of international terror groups like Hammas, Hezbollah and Al- Qaeda..

In his remarkable book “Explaining Hitler; The Search for the Origins of his Evil,” author Ron Rosenbaum surveyed the many books written in the 20th Century to “explain” Hitler, and none he concluded was sufficient. Nothing could explain Hitler. He was simply evil.

The left will try to advance their agenda in the coming weeks, and target our most precious rights; free speech and the right to bear arms. Only they won’t use the word target while doing so. We should do everything we can to fight such actions.

One world view (individualism) – man is self-centered, selfish, & self-promoting from birth and left untrained by society to submit to a universal standard of good in character formation uses people to gain power over others, wealth, fame, etc. If goodness of character is internalized by the individual and he is self-regulated, minimal external regulation is required by society, maximizing freedom for all. The other world view (collectivism) – man is good from birth and character is determined by society (everyone is doing it), so society is to blame for individual conduct, making the individual a victim of society and thus not responsible. The only option of society to avoid anarchy is to attempt to control the individual with external laws and regulations, limiting freedom for all. The third option is a balance of individualism & community where the person contributes to community b

You’re an idiot Tom!!! Man has been murdering man since the beginning of time and nothing is going to change that until there are no more humans here on Earth!!!!!

Our direct duty to our loves ones and ourselves is SELF-DEFENSE and anyone who cannot understand this has a brain-washed mentality and should keep their mouths SHUT because they haven’t a clue as to the true nature of Mankind.

It’s Mankind Tom, not the tools of Murder!

Why not do away with cars, alcohol, motorcycles, bikes, bats, hammers, stones, bombs, sharp pointed objects, and etc.

But, eliminate Mankind and murder is guaranteed to cease! Now, once again – What is the real problem TOM?

Lee certainly got this right! What a shame that the Lib’s try to falsely turn this tragedy into a political issue.
