Americans are worried about the Republic – with good reason. Election integrity matters. We all know that. The 2020 presidential election results are suspect. We all know that, too. They will remain suspect, indefinitely. The question is what to do with this fact.
On one hand, we can hope that – in some yet-to-be-heard lawsuit – fraud will be proven, and a Biden-Harris administration prevented on the merits. On the other hand, this looks increasingly unlikely – as election-shifting fraud is notoriously hard to prove, even when present.
So, what do we know? We know that COVID set up a bizarre election year, hobbling the Trump economy, permitting media and social media bias to sweep the election process, and justifying mass use of mail-in ballots – which opened the door to mass irregularities. Such heavy reliance on mail-in ballots must never happen again. Look at the facts.
With COVID, Democrats pushed unprecedented pre-election ballot distribution – virtually swamping the electorate, sending millions of ballots to unverified addresses, without requests, signature cross-checks, voter identification, ballot collection, or traditional anti-fraud protection.
By election day, 84 percent of American voters – 198 million Americans – could submit ballots without appearing in person. Worse, ballots could be returned for others, potentially completed for infirm, dead, intimidated, indifferent, previously unregistered, potentially ineligible voters.
On the numbers, only five states required in-person voting. By the time dust settled, 101.9 million votes had been cast early, 73 percent of the 2016 vote. Of that number, 65 million were mail-ins. Put differently, the number of 2020 mail-ins roughly doubled 2016’s 33.5 million.
In many states, mail-ins did not just produce a Biden victory margin – they exceeded all votes cast in that state in 2016. In other words, mail-in ballots – in 2020 – wagged the dog.
Traditionally, mail-in ballots favor Democrats, although why is not clear. Some say Republicans vote in-person more, but that is no explanation. Some say Democrat mail-in fraud is common, but in most years marginalized by in-person voting. Either way, mail-in ballots favored Democrats – by huge margins in 2020.
Some states push mail-ins, like California and Colorado, while others like New Hampshire did so for the first time. Ten states sent mail-ins to all voters. Nearly all states saw an absentee uptick.
Curiously, one in four ballots came from someone not recorded as voting in 2016, which could mean unprecedented participation, or an uptick in mail-ins from those usually not voting but “assisted” this year, such as the infirm, ill, disinterested, uneducated, and ineligible.
One variable stands out this cycle, above COVID, media and social media bias, socialist pressure, political violence, China, and a polarized electorate – mass use of mail-in ballots.
This is where the rubber meets the road, where the Republic perseveres, returns to honest vote-casting, or gives away the farm – loses election integrity. While the next four years may be hard to bear, calling for the best from American patriots, including courage and stamina, one thing is for sure: We must never again allow mass reliance on mail-in ballots – for any reason.
These ballots, whether the Supreme Court finds enough evidence of fraud to rule against them or not, are inherently suspect. They are prone to wrong addresses, wrong parties, voters who have moved, died, become institutionalized, infirm, ineligible, or are simply subject to undue influence, ballot harvesting, vote buying, and other indicia of fraud. That is incontrovertible.
So, to review the bidding. Yes, lawsuits remain – and yes, they may not prevail. Yes, the media – and social media – are unprofessional, biased. Yes, a cover-up of Hunter Biden’s corruption may have tipped the balance, points straight to Joe Biden; not covering that was unconscionable.
But the biggest cloud over this election – if Biden-Harris are sworn in – is this: Mail-in ballots set up potential for mass fraud, whether provable or not. This twist undermines the idea of one-citizen-one-vote, and faith in accountable elections. While we will have to deal with what can be proven this cycle, we should NEVER again allow reliance on mass mail-ins. Full stop.
Trump is being indicted from all sides. He would be saved if he can prove what I know about the ‘hidden’ fake ballots. The data on the Board of Elections files has been greatly tampered with and the false records added are used by the Dems to vote with. These records are for people who never lived and therefore will never die and will never be removed unless you do what is needed to be done. Seriously? The Supreme Court just surrendered to fear of the leftist mob, rather than even agree to even hear the Texas case. Only two of the nine Judges even had the courage to say they would have been willing to at least hear the case. What do you think the Supreme Court will do with all the other cases that are heading their way?
It is crystal clear at this point that the Supreme Court has buckled under to the left for fear of their own and their families personal safety. So rule of law is dead in this country and we are about to swear into office Democrat candidates who won only through fraud. The state legislatures in all the states most involved in this fraud all certified their state results yesterday, which ended that avenue for stopping this fraud. They also buckled under to the left for the same reason: Fear of the potential violence from angry, destructive leftist mobs. The January 6th reading of the state certifications in the Senate is just a formality. So tell me honestly how we the people, short of extra-legal means, can prevent the Democrats from strolling into the White House on January 20th?
As for eliminating mass mail-in ballots for future elections, why would the Democrats give up on a strategy that has proven immensely successful? With all the wheels of power at their disposal, it is not hard to envision some justification being put forth to allow something very, very similar to this mass mail-in balloting to become standard fare going forward. With existing proof that both state leguslatures and the Supreme Court can be influenced into submission as needed by the left, how will election saeguards and voter integrity be restored to pre-2020 election levels?
While is is great to be optimisticand hope for the best, there is a big difference between optimistic and wishful thinking based on nothing tangible. Sorry to be so blunt, but you shouldn’t be building up false hopes in people who are looking for some sort of miracle to undo this whole mess. They will only be more upset when nothing you’ve proposed has come to pass.

Well written, I agree whole-heartedly, but would like to argue 1 more point – elimination of computerized voting:
So, I argue voting in person, if at all possible, absentee available under stringent guidance, and one way to vote – unerasable paper that is marked in pen w/special ink. If correction needed, a new ballot is issued, original immediately recorded & destroyed. These be machine tabulated per the ink, IN HOUSE, not internet, then each location forward tallies along with hand recount verification signed by both parties & overseer.
I firmly am federalist republican, but there are just too many ways to mess things up going state by state voting methods.
We waited in line to cast a vote for decades it is time to return to IN PERSON voting show your voter ID and get your name checked on the confirmation sheet. YES it takes longer oh-well. We need a standard to be applied across the board on all federal elections! If the individual states want something different for their states “Knock yourselves out” you are the only ones that suffer, NOT SO with federal elections. The idea ANY electronic media (phones, sim cards, memory sticks were permitted in ANY area where counting is taking place is CRAZY! and should be cause for removal from the area with NO recourse and maybe even charging the offender with a crime.

The judicial system,SCOTUS,has waved the white flag! So have other judicial state groups. How did we get away with ballots being printed in other countries,ballots”counted” in other countries,and ballots mysteriously appearing,disappearing,or being “found”and blame human error? I think all ballots should be sent to the Post Offices with no respondent name on it. Then we could vote as many times as we want! That is what the Democrats did. I live in Ocean County,NJ and mailed in my Ballot on 10/1/20. The state voting website shows that it was Received. The status of Accepted or Unaccepted was not updated by 11/15/20. So, I immediately called the County election board to inquire and was met with a hostile answer basically telling me they are very busy and have until the end of November to update my status to Accepted. Today, 12/15/20 the website is still showing no updated information about the status of my vote. When I called the Election Board today I was told that I will not be updated until the first week of January. I will never do mail in Voting again. This stinks to high heaven of fraud at worse and inefficiency at least.

I believe in person voting is the way to go most of the time. In my area some people waited outside over 3 hours to vote!There were traffic jams and a lack of parking. The only way to ease that is have more polling locations or keep allowing mail in voting. I anticipated the huge turnout and was not going to make my 87 year old mother stand outside for hours. We mailed in applications for Absentee Voting. Once they were approved we mailed in the ballots. I was able to go online and see the ballots were approved for counting. What I was not able to see is if they were cast for President Trump or not. I agree with the others that The DemonRats got away with this so there is no stopping them now! I think there is a lot more to this story and actions that we are aware of. The whole voting corruption has been denied by courts, government workers and politicians (even some on the Trump team). It opens the question of conspiracy theories because answers are so hard to find. Could it be that China has threatened the release of additional viruses if we didn’t meet their “behind the curtain demands”. Is the start of a new world war with viruses instead of traditional warfare tactics?
Every American legal voter with a thinking brain knows that this election was fraught with corruption, from illegal ballots, to illegal voters, to illegal tabulations by corrupt tabulators, to voting machines designed to be manipulated and to change votes. And I agree with the article that we should never let it happen again. What is missing from the article, however, are suggestions about how to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Maybe the answer is obvious to many, but to those of my age, 89 years, and some others, these obvious answers are not always obvious. Over 60 years ago, as a writer of technical instruction manuals, I was taught to always write every article or instruction so that even an eight year old could understand it. I find today many writers tend to assume that some things are too obvious to bother writing about, but for some of who have forgotten much of what we once knew, the obvious is less apparent. So please provide specific suggestions on how we go about insuring that future elections are not fraught with errors and fraud as a result of massive mail in ballots.

My one and only conciliation in this whole debacle election and the handling and outcome of numerous other things this past year is that GOD is still in control. Given that the socialists have demonstrated that they can carry even a national election by fraudulent means, why would you target just mail-in ballots? The problem isn’t the means used, it’s the complete level of corruption that used that means, among others, to carry out a coup d’ etat. There’s no reason to think our, now second World country, will ever have another honest election, whether we ban mail-in ballots or not. As Stalin pointed out decades ago, it doesn’t matter who votes or how they vote; all that matters is who counts the votes. Wake up and smell the corruption! Good to see someone else has an honest and correct assessment of the situation. President Trump arrived in Washington in 2017 thinking he would only face opposition from Democrats and some corrupt fringe elements in the federal bureaucracy. He soon came to learn, through a series of coup attempts, that he faced not only a socialist Democrat party, but also the entire federal government bureaucracy, the entire MSM and most Congressional members of the establishment GOP.
Aside from a few handfuls of people around him, that were actually committed to his vision to get the United States back on track, he was virtually alone in trying to rectify decades of corruption that have taken hold. That he managed to accomplish so many positive things in such a short amount of time, under constant attack from all sides, is incredible. Unfortunately, it won’t take the Democrats long to undo the vast majority of his accomplishments and get the country firmly back on the track to becoming a socialist nation.
