Starting around 1770 Americans that could arm themselves did so, knowing that another Boston Massacre could happen at anytime and anywhere British Troops were present. This is the primary reason the 2nd amendment was confirmed in the Bill of Rights. Arming the population was the primary reason America was successful. Americans were hunters and learned to use the weapons of the day effectively and fought like the native Americans that hunted by stealth. If American farmers, black smith’s, clothiers, merchants and many other concerns that gather, from every European nation, for a new life away from the authoritarian governments in Europe, hadn’t been armed, as meagerly as they were in 1770, the British and their allies from abroad and local native Americans would have been the victories. Do you really think our homeland enemies, criminals, won’t be armed regardless of the law, they are criminals, they break the law. Criminals will be equipped with the latest weapons they can get. Do existing felons carry weapons? Do felons use them? Crazy is crazy so, having juvenile records available to prosecutor’s for any gun violations is one law we can pass that would be a giant step toward providing the public real safety. Then make laws with teeth. 1. Use any firearm while committing a crime, felony, go to jail, no bail, minimum 5 years. 2. Use any firearm committing a crime and discharge the firearm, felony, go to jail, no bail, minimum 15 years in prison. 3. Use any firearm committing a crime and discharge the firearm and cause bodily harm to others, felony, go to jail, no bail, minimum 25 years in prison. 4. Use any firearm committing a crime and discharge the firearm causing death, felony, go to jail, no bail, minimum life in prison. Tell our useless V.P. The article was deleted because it spelled out in very clear terms how food, or the lack thereof, could be used as an effective weapon to keep the masses under control and ensure governments could continue with the globalist agenda unimpeded. It was an interesting read for the short time it was on-line. Obviously whoever made the mistake of posting the document on-line has been dealt with.

Civilians had BETTER weapons than most soldiers in the Civil War. They had repeating rifles (assault weapons?) before the Union or Confederate Armies did. Of course, slow Joey FALSELY said that our Founders outlawed cannons; they are still LEGAL today!

Please would some-one counter the statements of the Illinois governor. In the Revolutionary War Battle of King’s Mountain the “Overmountain_Men” had rifles that I believe was a major factor for our success against Loyalists forces that held very high ground. It was also this victory that convinced the French and Spanish to enter the war on our side. So citizens were better armed then our army who primarily had muskets.

The Progressive-Socialists aren’t worried about a packed SCOTUS working against them. For one thing, if they manage to plant far-Left justices on the Court, then they will ram-through Congress the most radical & worst of their agenda with the certainty that those destructive laws will be upheld.
Secondly, they are actively strategizing to hold onto power by any means, as we saw in 2020. Their outrageous shams and coup attempts go unpunished by the spineless GOP, and so they fear not.

What really bothers me is the number and distribution of those who are anti-American, yet, are born Americans. They are seemingly huge in number, or at least the media helps it seem so, and coast-to-coast. Of course, they are mainly concentrated in urban areas usually run by the Progressive-Socialists, but that’s of little comfort.
Some argue that these destructive morons are a product of our education system, and there’s no doubt that’s true. The Left has made a concerted effort to infiltrate our schools and influence young minds for a Long time. Their relentless push towards their goals is quite amazing. If only those on the Right were as steadfast!
I completely agree with your comments and especially the last sentence. The other side is constantly pushing and nudging to get what it wants. It is a relentless and never accepts defeat on anything. If something doesn’t go their way, they just come right back and attack the issue from a different angle until they get most or all that they want. Contrast that with the so-called “Right” that seems to be largely composed of a combination of apathy and docility. Most appear to see and, at least on some level, understand the growing threat, but choose to do little to nothing of substance to address it. Hoping “someone else” will save them from their own inactions or thinking the next election will result in some sort of magic reset button being pushed, that magically wipes away all the accumulated damage done to date by the Left, isn’t reality. Like the person who notices a small leak in a pipe, choosing to ignore it and eventually the pipe decays and bursts. Creating a significant and expensive mess and a lot of damage.
Our side seems to be very good at choosing to ignore or just talk about small issues and problems endlessly, that would be easily correctable at the beginning, until they have metastasized into a huge, systemic problem threatening all aspects of society. We have lots of those today, thanks to 50 or 60 years of largely doing nothing to address the issues at the onset. That is of course not a recipe for success in the long run for our side, as ultimately the rot, left unchecked, utterly destroys everything it touches.
Yup, what you say is totally true. But, why? I have thought about the answer for some time. Having personally dealt with Leftists by the droves while in the Tea Party, I have a first-hand take on their mentality & behavior. Mostly, they have given-up independent thought & reflection –which takes concerted effort– to just accept the spoon-fed propaganda they are offered by the Progressive-Socialist leadership. Many in the group are weak-willed sheep and extremely conformist, who desperately want to belong and deathly afraid of being ostracized. So, they go along, not always believing in “the cause.”
However, they are good at parroting the tired, trite, & erroneous BS talking points that are passed along via text messages and social media. They are also good at resorting to violence against anyone who disagrees with them: “the enemy.”
By contrast, those on the Right are champions of individualism, seeking truth, and fair play. We’re the “nice guys,” who are “better than that.” Admirable qualities, to be sure, but they also work against you when dealing with a cohesive, centrally well-organized, and
ruthlessly determined mob with an “ends justify the means” mindset. We would rather engage in debate, than beat you into submission. They are just the opposite.
So, there you have it, simplistically put. When things don’t go the way the Left demands, they call for radical action, even if it means destroying long-held political traditions. Our side wants to “play by the rules” and respect those traditions. It’s not always apathy or docility that accounts for the greater Right’s lack of pointed action. Given our values and innate nature, we are not as organized & motivated around a singular ideology as the Left.
Well, for what it’s worth, that’s my take on the situation. I’ll close by saying that our side has a tipping point, and it’s getting close. Kinda like the quiet kid who gets bullied once too often and suddenly explodes with a ferocity that none expected. Take care, brother.
Well said. I just hope there are actually enough on our side who will, at some point, say enough is enough and deal with the situation in a direct manner. After all, there is such as things as being “too nice and polite”, especially when the other side will use any means at their disposal to secure their goals. There’s not much purpose to “playing by the rules”, when we’re the only side abiding by the rules. Enjoy what’s left of the weekend.
