The real problem today can be summed up in two words.moral decay.

We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.—Ronald Reagan

Bettter than 53% of the American people said no to Obama Care but this admin placed the majority voice of We the People on ignore. If this President does not represent the majority voice then just who does he represent other than his own ideology of big government control. Obama Care is the greatest scam perpetrated on the Americna people under the pretense of providing “affordable” quality health care. It is all about removing personal choice and an erosion of our freedom. It is unaffordable, a job killer and a major increase to our debt. A signature bill for who? The Americna people or Obama? 2700 pages of control & tax. Do as we say not as we do>>>>

I want to thank AMAC for standing up for our conservative views and beliefs. Thank you AMAC for taking the patriotic, conservative message of LIFE, LIBERTY, and Personal Pursuit (not government guarantee or mandated program!) of Happiness, and firm stance on the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Founding Principals to the American people and to Washington and Congress on our behalf. And thanks for keeping us well informed with these news briefings. Friends, please encourage your relatives and neighbors to join AMAC! It is one of the most reasonable in cost and among the hardest working organizations for lobbying for the conservative values we share.

AMAC seems to have more backbone than several of our main “conservative” leaders! Thanks AMAC, for sending representatives to speak with our Congressional officials and to conservative conventions. You are our feet in the halls of Congress and our voice in their offices when we can’t be there ourselves. God bless AMAC!

You know what the biggest problem is? People who are employed can’t have a voice! It’s not that they don’t want to speak up on issues, but the fear is that if they do, either their employer will fire them, or the IRS or some government agency will target them. So sadly the people who work and want to speak up can’t, and then you have the other half of the country that keeps getting free stuff, and they sure as hell aren’t going to speak up, because they feel that they are entitled to everything that the working middle class pays for. (cause it ain’t the government paying for it!)

OBAMA WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE WORST PRESIDENT THE UNITED STATES EVER ELECTED, THAT IS, IF WE STAND UP AND TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY. PEOPLE OF THIS NATION HAVE GOTTEN LAZY AND DEMOCRATS PROMISE THEY CAN SHARE IN THE WEALTH OF OTHERS WHO WORKED, SACRIFICED AND SUCCEEDED WITHOUT HAVING TO LIFT A FINGER. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!!!L
I WAS RAISED IN AN AREA WHERE ONE WAS EXPECTED TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEMSELF AND THEIR FAMILY. IF HELP WAS NEEDED, IT WAS GIVEN, BUT IT WAS NOT EXPECTED TO BE A LIFETIME GIFT, UNLESS CIRCUMSTANCES WERE SUCH THEY COULD NOT TAKE CARE OF THEMSELF.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I AM TRULY WORRIED!

Will someone please answer a question that persists in my thinking. The Supreme court ruled Obama care. Affordable care Act, constitutional. That was, at the time, the complete proposaql. Meanwhile, there have been so many waivers, exemptions, et al, that the current face of the legislation has changed, such that what’s left, at this point, does not resemble the original data with which the Supreme court dealt.
Therefore, how can this program continue to be constitutional? And if my point is valid, why has this not been offered by Republican Stragetists?

The Supreme Court made a very narrow ruling that overall Obamacare was constitutional as a tax. Nothing more. Issues involving numerous aspects of the law, such as mandating that people must now buy a service (health care insurance) or face a fine, were largely sidestepped. Such a line by line review of Obamacare would take years of the Supreme Court’s time, due to the complexity of the law. It was pretty evident that none of the court’s members was willing to set aside all other court’s business for years in order to focus solely on Obamacare. Remember one justice actually chided the government’s attorney during testimony something to the effect of “I hope you don’t expect we’re all going to have this read the entire bill do you?” Of course the Democrats claim this narrow Supreme Court decision means Obamacare overall is completely wonderful and that we should all be embracing the new federal bureaucracy and added costs as fast as they can be put into place.

This unfortunately opens the door to future Congressional legislation where the government can mandate all sorts of things on the American people. One mandate might be that all Americans must buy a new electric car every five years or pay a fine. Another mandate might be that all Americans must purchase solar panels for their primary residence or face a fine. Both are part of the Obama agenda and neither is being adopted willingly by the American people for various reasons to make them either practical or sufficiently enrich Obama’s donors, who have substantial investments in both areas.

Bottom line, don’t expect the Supreme Court is going to agree to review any aspects of Obamacare again in the near future. They got it on and off their table as fast as they could. As for the waivers, Obama doesn’t have the constitutional authority to unilaterally issue the 1,400 waivers he’s done to date. No where in the actual Obamacare law is there a provision affording the President this sort of power. he’s simply doing it and neither the Congress nor the Supreme Court are saying a word. That points to a larger issue with our government at this point.

As for Republican strategists, which ones are you referring to? Folks like Karl Rove don’t even think the Republicans should be fighting back at all at this point. They fear it might impact Republican chances in 2014 and 2016. His view is pretty much we should just sit back and hope Obamacare implodes between now and 2014 or 2016. Then he hopes everyone votes Republican in 2014 and 2016. This is the same group of strategists that gave us McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012 with a strategy of “don’t criticize or say anything negative about your opponent or you might lose the all-important independent voter”. In short, don’t fight back and let the opposition smear you with every lie they can dream up, but remember to keep smiling as they keep heaping it on. Yeah, that strategy worked out real well both times didn’t it?

I want to give thanks to God for our nation. I am thankful every day that I was born here. I am glad that I went to school in our nation when citizenship was taught, that history was reasonably accurate and a man understood his personal responsibility to ensure the rights of freedom for all his neighbors.

I am saddened that we are witnessing a nation in the throes of media-inflamed chaos. We have become a nation of endless criticism venting our opinions based upon a legacy of passivity and ignorance. I believe that we would be appalled to learn how we are viewed by those politicians and those who fund them.

I repeat the words of Pogo: “We have met the enemy and they are us!”

I confess, in all contrition, that I am personally responsible for the social ills we now see portrayed in the stream of U.S. Senators and Representatives posturing and pleading on national television for a restoration of all U.S. Government functions. What is being neglected are the years of history leading up to today.

1. Health care became a reality when President Nixon invoked wage and price controls in the 1970s. Employers could not grant raises and chose to retain talented workers by offering health care insurance. Bargaining-unit employees structured their labor agreements increasingly toward off-loading health care expenses which in their minds gave them a cost reduction =’s wage increase. Initially the grouping of workers reduced the cost of this coverage to individuals and their families. Insurance risk managers counseled preventative health care or wellness programs.

2. The politicians recognized the voter base available to them if they promised to administer benefits to our citizens. Real concern for the well-being of our citizens grew out of our care for our veterans. The Great Depression stood as a reminder of what happens when our global economy fails to work and in 2007-2008 we repeated history again! No one talks about the post-Civil War Era when our economy cycled through one “Panic” after another.

3. We the People have personally abandoned holiness! We demand that our government by “fixed” with the same anger we vent upon our municipal public works departments if our streets are not plowed or our garbage collected.

Each time I turn on C-Span to watch the daily street theater of the U.S. Congress, the camera facing the “pulpit of power” at the front of the House Chamber shows the overhead inscription: “In God We Trust”

What hypocrisy! Now don’t get all in a huff of self-righteous indignation! Have I humbled myself before God and asked forgiveness for my many sins? Have I stood and am I still standing in the way of a move of God to renew, revive and bring restoration?

Many people love God in this nation. They bow down daily in prayer and beg God to bring revival and to heal our land!
Before God can act we must “call out to God and turn from our wicked ways…”

We have chance to be the nation which has stood for freedom and as a refuge to the oppressed of our world for over 200 hundred years.

If you want confirmation of what this nation can become you only have to look up ‘Revival’ on the Internet. Look at the many times our ever faithful God has answered the cries of His people!

Before we attempt to fix blame on the leaders of our nation understand that they are (we are) the afflicted victims of Satan and his host of fallen angels. Try to grasp that what is going on has been repeated thousands of times in human history. No matter how noble the original purpose of the United States, no matter how carefully our Constitution addresses the operation of our government, in the end the only action which makes this possible is each individual placing himself or herself under the authority of God and His Word. You may escape judgment in municipal court today but you will have to stand and give an account for your life before the Throne of Heaven at the end of your life.

Matthew Henry comments: “Sinners have their loved sin, their own evil way, of which they are fond. Our sins deserve all grief and sorrows, even the most severe. We are saved from the ruin, to which by sin we become liable, by laying our sins on Christ. This atonement was to be made for our sins. And this is the only way of salvation.”

God Bless the men, the women and the children of our nation and prosper them in confessing their sin and may our faithful God bring revival to our land by His Grace and His Mercy!

People are sick and tired of Obama doing what he wants against the Constitution rights. People do not want Obama care the Republicans should stand up to him at every turn otherwise Impeach Obama that is what people want Chicago is about the only place standing behind him and you know why I live in Ill.

Impeachment is NOT a viable option as long as the Democrats control the Senate. Harry Reid would simply refuse to proceed to trial even if the House took the formal step to impeach Obama, which they won’t by the way.
