AMAC sent a letter supporting Congressman Chip Roy’s (TX-21) H.R. 6259, the Veterans Access to Direct Primary Care Act. The bill will give veterans choices for their primary care while still utilizing the VA for specialty care and other services. It pilots the novel use of health savings accounts (HSA) for veterans to take advantage of direct primary care, a practice model that affords them easy access to personalized care.
