9 out of 14. The ones I knew were fairly easy, but the ones where I didn’t know the answer were a complete blank. I guess that’s not too bad, what would that be, a “C-“???

I got as far as #11 and then it would not let me submit my answer or continue on.

For those interested in history…AMAC Online posted a post from my Blog Series “Statues:The People They Salute” which is about Dwight D. Eisenhower. It didn’t make the Newsletter…so you’ll have to search a bit for it.

Wow. Only 10 out of the 14 questions. But wait a minute. With my knowledge of New Math that is rounded to 12 out of 14 and then with corrections for being an over 70 years old that takes me to 14 out of 14. Now I get a participation trophy!

Perfect score, love Space.
12 right. Question #6, however, doesn’t actually list a correct answer. Our competition wasn’t with Russia but rather with The Soviet Union.
I blew the question about the number of planets, due to the Pluto controversy. As for my other wrong answer, I was just spaced out!
Pluto is a planet and there is actually 10, probably 11, see https://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2005/29jul_planetx and to add to this, gravitational effects on the Sun, other planets and bodies in the asteroid belt indicates so see https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/hypothetical-planet-x/in-depth/

I like your math & explanations!
10. I have forgotten much about our space program.
Always enjoy the quizzes. Thanks
Fun. I love to take these quizzes. Missed six but am happy to learn and be reminded of things I am forgetting.
Pluto is a planet! I do not care what anyone says.
Correct answer is nine not eight.
Yeah! I’m with you!
You are so RIGHT! Why is everything subject to change at the whim of clueless people????
i love these quizzes!
11 out of 14 – Didn’t realized how much I had forgotten over the years. Was an avid follower of the space program when I was growing up.
10/14. Not too bad for me. Some I knew, some were good guesses, some not! Fun though,
Astroids and Meteoroids are both the right answer
Took a NASA sponsored class once. Remembers quite a bit-missed 2. I enjoy the quizzes!
