All kidding aside, this was my second saddest Christmas to date. Numero uno was 1996 when my father passed on Christmas eve. This year, my beautiful wife was leaving her job Christmas Eve day on an snow/ice covered parking lot. One step left to her vehicle & she fell & fractured her hip. Spent Christmas Eve/Christmas Day in the hospital. On Dec 26th she was prepped for hip replacement surgery. By God’s hand guiding the surgeons hands, she was released on the 27th & is home recuperating. A miraculous healing is occurring before my eyes! Merry Christmas y’all, & Happy New Year.

5 out of 15. Pretty sad, yes? Who knew? I sure didn’t. I got the one about Roosevelt not having a tree because I knew he was a conservationist. Still just a lucky guess.

After reading the comments, I don’t fell bad for getting 7/15 correct. Like most, half of those were guesses. Merry Christmas to all!

I did not know the answer to even a single one of these questions, thus all answer selections were guesses. And I got nine correct. Blind luck.

I AM SOOOOOOO ASHAMED! I usually do pretty well on these things but only scored 4 correct, AND those were just lucky guesses. I really did not know the answer to any question asked. I especially liked the “live possums” question – I guessed that somebody had given them to Bubba as a joke, but was interested to learn that it had been done for real. Fun Quiz. Thanks, and Merry Christmas to all.
You’ve probably already heard this, but maybe some haven’t. Slick Willie was getting off his helicopter at the White House, and had a pig under each arm. The marine at the bottom of the steps asked him what he was doing with them. Bill said he’d gotten one for Hillary, and one for Chelsea. The marine saluted and said, “Nice trade, Sir!”

Hope all our other Amackers out there are having a very blessed Christmas this year. God give you each the peace in your hearts that is what He means by “Peace on Earth.” I love these quizzes on American history. I like to have confirmation that I do still remember a few things from my past learning, and learning new facts is always exciting.

4 out of 15. All lucky guesses. Apparently I don’t know much about the White House during Christmastime, even though I got to visit it at Christmas several years ago.
