Democrats’ Circular Firing Squad Begins Early

AMAC Exclusive – By Andrew Abbott

Democrats

With Republicans poised to make major gains in next week’s midterm elections, many Democrats are already pointing fingers and shirking blame for what looks to be a catastrophic wave of election losses.

As they did in 2020 and 2021, the “progressive” wing of the Democratic Party is leading the charge in the blame game. Two years ago, following a disastrous performance for House Democrats, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), echoing the sentiment of other members of the “Squad,” said that it was actually Democrats’ refusal to lean more into radical policies like “Defund the Police” which cost them seats. “The conversation is a little bit deeper than saying anything progressive is toxic,” she said then, despite clear evidence that voters were deeply opposed to progressive policies.

Apparently still unwilling to admit that voters have rejected their far-left agenda, progressives are again expressing frustration that the Democratic Party has not been radical enough throughout the 2022 campaign season. Last month, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) pushed back on the suggestion that “Defund the Police” had hurt Democrats electorally, telling CNN host Don Lemon that “there is no data that actually shows that saying ‘defund the police’ cost actual elections.” Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, meanwhile, has said that Democrats didn’t go “big enough” in implementing price controls and other expensive government programs.

Meanwhile, Democrats hoping to cultivate a “moderate” image and hide their record of radical votes have blamed progressives for not focusing on kitchen table issues like the economy and crime. Rep. Elissa Slotkin, one of the most endangered Democrat incumbents this fall, took a subtle dig at progressives’ obsession with policies like the Green New Deal and student debt forgiveness, saying that “if you can’t speak directly to people’s pocketbook and talk about our vision for the economy, you’re just having half a conversation.” (Notably, however, Slotkin joined House Democrats in voting for the big spending policies which caused those pocketbook concerns for voters.)

Even former President Obama – himself no stranger to far-left policies – has piled on criticism of progressives. “Sometimes, people just want to not feel as if they are walking on eggshells,” Obama said on a podcast late last month, referring to the perception of Democrats as “pronoun police” more concerned with political correctness than issues like inflation and the economy. He went on to say that Democrats need to avoid being a “buzzkill.” Former Bill Clinton advisor James Carville has been even more direct, saying that progressives “are all kind of nice people,” but “they’re very naive, and they’re all into language and identity. And that’s alright… But they’re not winning elections.”

Other Democrats facing losses in congressional races are also grumbling that weak gubernatorial candidates are dragging them down. In New York and California in particular, Democratic operatives are worried that unpopular governors Kathy Hochul and Gavin Newsom – both facing reelection this year – will lead to losses in certain key House races, even if Hochul and Newsom manage to win. Democrat strategists have also privately expressed concern that Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams – who trails Republican Governor Brian Kemp by more than eight points in the latest RealClearPolitics polling average – is dragging down Senator Raphael Warnock in his reelection bid.

Another favorite scapegoat for Democrats has been President Joe Biden, whose polling remains underwater with most demographics. Biden has been noticeably absent from several key Senate campaigns, and many candidates have outright avoided the President when he made visits to their state. Several prominent Democratic strategists also blasted Biden’s deeply divisive and angry speech earlier this week calling a potential Republican victory a “threat to democracy.” Faiz Shakir, Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign manager, said ahead of the speech that “I hope there are some people at the White House watching, because when you think about this address he’s about to give tonight — I hope they’re re-writing it and focusing on cost of living.” Former Obama Chief Strategist David Axelrod tweeted that “as a matter of practical politics, I doubt many Ds in marginal races are eager for [Biden] to be on TV tonight.”

For House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and many in the mainstream media, the voters themselves deserve most of the scorn for looming Democratic losses. “I cannot believe anybody would vote for these people,” she told the New York Times last month. “A vote for Republicans might just be the last one you ever cast,” scolded Ryan Cooper, an MSNBC columnist. Jennifer Rubin, a supposed “conservative” columnist for the Washington Post, has accused anyone who votes Republican of being a “low information” voter and “betraying democracy.”

The one person no one on the left seems willing to blame for the looming Red Wave, however, is themselves Beyond blaming rival factions, little self-reflection is going on. But given that virtually every Democrat has contributed to enacting the radical liberal agenda that has now put the party in dire electoral straits, perhaps looking in the mirror is the best place to start when assigning blame for any losses on Election Day.

If you want to know why the Democrats are the way they are today, look no further than George Soros. Soros needs to have 180 grains of lead injected into him. It would be quick and humane, not to mention ease the world of much pain and suffering!

When a presidential candidate is elected, he is supposed to uphold the constitution. When elections are stolen, the president does not care to uphold the constitution.

When we take the house and senate [hopefully], we will still have big problems because the president will veto every bill the republicans will put forward. Even if the president veto’s many bills we will still need a majority to override. Over the next two years there will be all kinds of litigations, hearings to bring down the inept [law breaking] people running government that broke constitutional laws. With all the damage done in the last two years, it will take many more years to undo.

The Economic Debt & resulting Depression are UNAVOIDABLE. Sorry if that upsets anyone, but Reality doesn’t care about “Feelings”. The Best a Red Wave can do is Expose the Feral Gov Corruption and Defund the most outrageous Pork Spending, but that isn’t going to avert the Depression with it’s defaults and wholesale misery. It’s simply going to be very tough, but The Way Out is The Way Through. btw, When going thru He77, Keep Moving!!!

I surely hope I am wrong. But I believe the dems will cheat again as much as it takes to put up the numbers to win. What do they have to loose. After all they are saving their democracy. Not our democracy. They already have the Fbi and the doj in their pocket then they will have them fighting for them. If the dems loose there will be war in the streets of sanctuary cities. Sound familiar 2020 prior to elections. They have nothing to loose they have declared war on everyone that voted republican or against them which is probably 65% of the country. Even the families of people that voted for them by gaining control of the school boards and colleges that train our future teachers. Its all in the plan. The world is over populated any way so it fits right into their plan. Fire up the furnaces and rid the earth of the scum that are standing in their way.

We only stand one chance to come out of this and that is to realize we only have one vote. So vote. And give this some thought. It’s a scripture in the Bible. It’s not as written but then again maybe it is. I look at it as the 11th commandment…My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves seek My face and pray then I will hear from Heaven and heal their land…. and when you have done all you can do. Stand. At this point what do we have to loose. And what do we have to loose. We shouldn’t let them controll our lives and the future of our children and children’s children I don’t believe that’s God’s plan although I see it in the works of the devil. The choice is yours. All I can do is to make a stand. And ask you to do the same. Pray for our country. Thank you.

Democrats have been doing for YEARS what they accuse the GOP of doing, “Republicans using SCARE tactics in their campaigns” springs readily mind! Also, I, for one, am totally done with the ‘Woke’ folks and the ‘Cancel Culture’ philosophy.

Why on earth would a seasoned soldier ask war advice or listen to a 5 year old? That is what comes to mind when I hear that some of our political giants took advice from “the squad”. Is there any intelligent people out there who thinks that mankind is capable of self rule, regulation, or discipline? DEFUND THE POLICE….really? When an example of “law abiding citizens”, took over a few blocks in down town Seattle, blocking businesses and intimidating the public. Our seasoned politicians actually listened to these political 5 year old’s and some even tried to take their advice. When some leaders saw evidence that this was stupidity and it was going to cost them votes, they tried to walk it back. Alas, it was to late. You miscalculated and misread the American public. Many of us still believe in our Constitution and Bill or Rights. America is not ready for your one world government.

Neither are the Chinese, Russians, and Iran! I think that this is what is going on behind the scenes. The U.S. thinks they are the current leader of the One World Government. Russia, China , and Iran see that as an attempt to overthrow all countries and make them abide by the One Worlder’s rules.

No wonder they are fighting a war with Ukraine trying to keep NATO from getting more participants in the One World Government.

They / the democrats keep keeping on. “ A threat to Democracy “ . They blame conservatives / Republicans for everything they’ve created . Looking in the mirror is an option they won’t consider. The Republicans will gain the house and the senate Tuesday, and they better step up , and get us out of this disaster we’re in, because there are some who have back stabbed the party . Vote !!!

These Mid-terms MEAN NOTHING to the Democrats as they are ALREADY in power and the Mid-terms aren’t going to remove them from power. But it will prepare them for the “guarantee” to stay in Presidential power by lulling the Republicans into believing that they won’t cheat again to remain in Presidential power! . . . And the stupid Republicans WILL FALL FOR IT AGAIN! . . . Wanna bet?

It is time to stop the insanity. The Conservatives need to start fighting fire with fire. We need to use Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals against them. The liberals do not believe in compromise or civility! We see it every day.

I am almost embarrassed to admit Bush comes from this state. How can the city continue to keep her in office? Do they actually believe we want those policies? This country does not want to be servants of their nonsense. Red wave to get these folks out and send a strong message to swing to the middle. Just hope they will cool their nonsense.

Stop using the word progressive. We must not allow them to use such a positive word to describe socialist Marxism. You are playing right into their hand by letting them spin their agenda into something that insinuates progress. Repeat after me: Communism, socialism, Marxism.

All this, although valid, is just a pack of opinions. We will not know the outcome of 2022 until Fri-Sat of next week. At least 7 elections will go to uncertainty or recount. This country has lost the abililty to hold an election on time.

Where are we going!?

Well. I remember 14 administrations but not everything that happened in each one. And, we only know what news media tells us anyway. But, back there during the Chet Huntley/David Brinkley years, Americans could count on straight news without spin. Editorializing used to be a separate thing. Orderly. But, even then (in hindsight in 60’s and 70’s), I can see Communist/Socialist influence all over what played out on television in the homes of American families.

Democrats: the self-serving party of virtue-signaling, thievery and hypocrisy. There were some good democratic presidents with great accomplishments. But, for the most part, most of everything they did back then turned to sh t. Just like now. Even as republicans brokered a tragic ‘peace deal’ in the 70’s, Democrat media influence managed to convince a big chunk of America to hate its own military! These people are insufferable. McCarthy was not entirely wrong.

These days I get the feeling that a benevolent dictatorship running the American government would be better than what we have now. The entire Cabinet and what used to be The People’s House are all weaponized anyway. Why not just trust a benevolent tribunal to manage the insanity in the best possible way: martial law each time some group of idiots decides to burn something, tear down a statue or protest ‘peacefully’; make every city over two million a sanctuary city and create projects for the homeless to work on – you don’t work, you don’t eat. AOC, Tlaib, Omar and other loud mouths could be put to work for DOD cleaning toilets when they express personal dissatisfaction with their jobs.

Very interesting, Luke. Your wisdom via experience is much appreciated. You are mostly right but I have to disagree that any kind of dictatorship would be a good thing for our constructional republic. I hope that was a kind of tongue-in-cheek thing. We need to get back to the basics of what has made this country the best! When America fails to lead, look at what happens to not just us, but the whole world. We need real leadership.

What we have now certainly does NOT qualify. Vote for better leadership. VOTE!

Democrats deserve to lose this election on the basis of the disaster which their policies have been for the country. They squandered the victory they claimed in November, 2020 and nothing proves the fraudulence of that election more than the consequences of the policies which they have had over the past 22 months. They can assert that “Democracy is on the ballot.” The problem has been that representation of the needs of the American citizenry has not been the result of the apparent choice of 2020. They have not solved problems, despite all the hundreds of years of cumulative, political experience that the major players in the Democrat Party have.
We need a conservative, clean sweep on Tuesday.
