Delaying Part B with Current Coverage

Did you know…

If you turn 65 and are still working, or are still covered under your spouse’s insurance through that employer or union, you may have the option of delaying your Medicare Part B saving yourself the Part B monthly premium?  If you are disabled and covered by a family member you may also be able to delay your Part B coverage.  Contact your employer or union benefits administrator to see how your benefits work with Medicare.  Please note that COBRA and retiree health coverage do not count as current employer coverage.
