I read ratings reviews especially those for the ones who claim to have great ratings to check out the lower ratings comments because those tell me about issues dealing with the insurance for claims and how they really relate in response to clarifying questions. One thing I hate is having a non-answer to a specific question regarding my coverage limits. I chose coverage for my needs not to make profit for the insurance. I know that any medical treatment beyond the listed coverage has a higher cost so I should know upfront what my out of pocket costs will be. Because today even doctors want payment upfront. So if I can’t talk to person ( not their answering service) who can explain exactly, that coverage is wrong for me. Doesn’t matter what level coverage ( bronze, silver, gold) plan, I look for the best human interaction.
That is a great point! Customer service is a key factor when choosing a plan. Should you switch carriers, you want to know that they will help you if any problems arise.
