There are resources out there to help make Original Medicare more affordable. Medicare Savings Programs can help you pay deductibles, coinsurances and copayments for Medicare Part A & B. You can contact your local Medicaid office to see if you qualify for these programs.

You might also want to look into the Extra Help program offered by the Social Security Administration. It can help pay your premuims, deductibles and lower your copayments for prescription drugs.
