Election

Among other provisions, this bill protects conservative voices and Americans’ First Amendment right to speak political views and support candidates, causes, and organizations without fear of retribution.

September 14, 2022
The Honorable Rodney Davis
13th Congressional District of Illinois
2079 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Congressman Davis,

On behalf of the 2.3 million members of AMAC – the Association of Mature American Citizens, including over 5,100 residing in IL-13, I write to offer our support for H.R. 8528, the American Confidence in Elections Act.

This bill is an education in the history of the development, the intent of the framers, the application of constitutional law to election procedure, and the limits for congressional oversight and guidance, and when it passes, it will serve as a demonstration that congress understands the same.

A comprehensive look at elections in our nation, this bill places due influence over all the major issues we are facing with election integrity today, while respecting states’ rights regarding the conduct of elections at all levels. This bill sheds light on general administration of elections, military voting, political free speech, campaign finance, and election security; especially considering foreign influence. Not to be forgotten, this bill both terminates and eliminates funding for any kind of information control body that may influence the votes of American citizens.

Especially important, Section 112 of the bill prescribes a study of considerations, and a course of promulgation to states for the proper handling of mail-in votes, voter identity, voter rolls, independent observation of election procedures, reporting results, ensuring a chain of custody for election materials, and other important considerations for election management in the proposed Section 247 of 52 U.S.C. 20981.

As an organization representing members who cherish their right to vote and want it protected, AMAC thanks you, Representative Davis, for your strong leadership in introducing this important legislation to protect election integrity and ensure the accurate representation of the will of the people in our government.

Sincerely,
Bob Carlstrom
President

This is a forum for members of AMAC to express their responses to political news and other events which affect the political health and welfare of this Nation and its governance. It’s irritating to me because it is mostly promoting using the telephone to annoy people with unsolicited sales pitches, often disguised as something else. I get a dozen or so of this type of phone solicitation and it is very annoying and disruptive to my personal private home environment. AMAC … please whittle this type of commentary from the commentaries.

The Following created a “State approved”, “Royal Press”:

52 U.S. Code § 30101 – Definitions (9)(B) The term “expenditure” does not include— (i) any news story, commentary, or editorial distributed through the facilities of any broadcasting station, newspaper, magazine, or other periodical publication, unless such facilities are owned or controlled by any political party, political committee, or candidate; – law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/52/30101

But if candidates and political parties have to pay for time/space in the media, then why are favorable editorials considered to have no value if they are published by corporate media, unless the media is controlled by a political party, political committee, or candidate?

To restore equal rights to citizens, federal candidates, political parties and PACs “We the People” should ask our representatives in the Senate and House to revisit:

S. 2416 — 113th Congress: Free All Speech Act of 2014.”

S. 2416
IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
June 3, 2014
Mr. Cruz introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation

A BILL

To apply laws that restrict the political speech of American citizens to media corporations.
1. Short title

Does it matter? In AZ, a Federal Judge ruled a new law prohibiting Dead Voters, having residents who no longer live in AZ taken off the voter rolls is un-Constitutional. Until these activist Democrats judges/Justices are replaced, nothing will change.

EI Ideas:

QR codes on ballots
Computers count ballots
Observers in Count rooms
Robots move ballots to Counting areas
Color code ballots
Watermark ballots
Vet election workers
Computers scan signatures
Robots toss ballots: moved, deceased, triplicate

Adapt US currency security to ballots
Hidden scan codes.
No scan code, ballott is Fake

Apply nationwide

Easy peasy! Voter ID, Vote in Person ONLY! No VOTE COUNTING nor VOTING MACHINES EVER!
Traceable ballots held along with all election related data for at least ten years open to all for review.

Get rid of early voting and force in-person voting only except for in the most extreme instances. And clean up the voter rolls: remove dead people, those that no longer live in the precinct, and non-citizens.

Election integrity? What a novel idea, I’ll bet Joe will have another reason why that’s not possible.
