Dear Representative Roy,
On behalf of the 2.2 million members of AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, and over 10,300 members in TX-21, I write to convey our fervent support for H.R.29, a bill to protect our national sovereignty from the influx of illegal aliens at our southern border.
Without the shield provided by our secure borders, our physical, geographical, political, ideological, and
cultural borders, within which we define our sovereignty, we are not a nation. These United States are
only a nation if we the people thereof define, respect, and enforce where and how our country exists, and
who may join us in these efforts.
This bill grants the Secretary of Homeland Security wide latitude to prohibit the entry and occupation of illegal aliens, requires their removal in cases when they would have otherwise been allowed to wait for further administrative and/or judicial proceedings, and allows sovereign States to bring legal action should the Secretary refuse to follow the law.
AMAC thanks you, Representative Roy, and your cosponsors, for leading the effort to secure our borders from foreign incursion when H.R.29 becomes law.

I support this Bill. Currently the “message” from this Administration is: OPEN BORDER.
We need to change the narrative:
– this is Not an anti-Immigrant policy. An Immigrant is an alien who has come into the country Legally and has been granted permission to live and work in the United States permanently. We do this for over 1 million Immigrants every year. Welcome.
– I understand these are people just looking for better quality of life, but there are over 700 million people in the world living in extreme poverty who would want the same! Does anybody expect Americans to support all of these people?
– After we secure the border; uphold our laws (including deporting those here Illegally) and bring this human crisis back under control – then and only then can we provide a better and safer process for all. Then we can look at giving amnesty to those who truly need it, consideration for DACA and maybe even increasing the number allowed in legally every year.
Until we regain our national border sovereignty it will be a lose-lose for all; our services and costs to Americans will be overwhelmed, the Illegals will be taken advantage of; human trafficking; fentanyl death… it needs to stop.
There are 178 references in the Bible on securing borders. Goes to say the left won’t enforce that.

Secure borders are part of the US Constitution so they’re already ignoring the law.
A good headstart would be for the Federal Govt. to fund & enforce the immigration laws that are currently in place.

I am so proud I am now a member of this group. I am so excited that someone is providing great service to protect We The People. My sister in NC told me about this.I joined immediately. I was a member of AARP many years and when I found out what they did I was furious that what they gave money to I dropped them immediately.
