The United States has become the undisputed world leader in Coronavirus testing. More than 9 million tests have now been completed, and this month, every single State will be able to test more people per capita than South Korea and other leading countries have.
To continue expanding capacity, the Administration is sending nearly $11 billion to help States, territories, and tribes meet testing goals. The President is also sending approximately 12 million testing swabs to States over the course of May to supplement private-sector resources.
