from Catie Hardin – My husband is already semi retired and working part time. I was planning to do the same this year. If I retire, of course I lose my company offered health insurance. Looking into the ACA plans I can get a subsidized plan but none of my doctors are on the plan and the what is there is so few I know it would be difficult to get appointments. To go with a plan that is accepted at most places, I would have to continue to pay at least $500 per month but still keep my income really low which would mean paying for insurance instead of food and utilities. It is a no win situation.
