House Passes AMAC Action-Backed “Deporting Fraudsters Act” to Punish Illegal Alien Welfare Fraud

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Deporting Fraudsters Act, a commonsense measure aimed at protecting American taxpayers and safeguarding critical benefits programs from abuse – including those that seniors and AMAC members rely on. The bill now heads to the Senate, where AMAC Action is urging lawmakers to pass it without delay.

The legislation, introduced by Congressman Dave Taylor (R-OH), would ensure that any illegal alien who defrauds the United States or steals taxpayer-funded benefits is deemed inadmissible and subject to deportation. It would also bar such individuals from reentering the country, reinforcing accountability and restoring integrity to programs intended to support American citizens – particularly seniors who rely on Social Security, Medicare, and other essential services.

AMAC Action expressed strong and early support for the bill, emphasizing the urgent need to crack down on widespread fraud that is draining government resources. According to estimates from the White House Office of Management and Budget, the federal government spends more than $1 trillion annually on welfare and social service programs, with between $233 billion and $521 billion lost to fraud each year.

High-profile cases across the country underscore the scale of the problem. In Minnesota, a massive daycare fraud scheme – largely perpetrated by migrants from Somalia – allegedly siphoned billions in taxpayer dollars, with nearly 100 individuals charged so far. Similar abuses have been uncovered in California, where $181 million was lost to EBT fraud, and in New York, where a $120 million Medicare and Medicaid fraud scheme was exposed.

“This is about protecting the benefits that American seniors and taxpayers have earned,” said Andy Mangione, Senior Vice President of AMAC Action. “For too long, weak enforcement has allowed bad actors, including individuals who have no legal right to be in this country, to exploit these programs. The Deporting Fraudsters Act sends a clear message that if you steal from the American people, you will face consequences, including removal from the United States.”

Despite the bill’s straightforward intent, 186 House Democrats voted against it – effectively opposing the deportation of individuals who commit welfare fraud while unlawfully present in the country. That vote highlights a stark divide over how to address the growing crisis of government benefit fraud.

AMAC Action is now calling on the Senate to swiftly pass the bill. At a time when hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars are lost to fraud each year, the Deporting Fraudsters Act represents a necessary and long-overdue step toward restoring accountability. Ensuring that those who abuse the system are removed from the country is not just sound policy – it is a basic obligation that lawmakers have to the American people.

Back in the 1970’s, my husband and I had just moved back to CA after a 1 year job in another state. I was pregnant, and my husband had trouble getting work. We applied for welfare & received it. After several months, he got a job. When our next welfare came, I took it back to the office to tell them we didn’t need it any more. The clerk gave me a horrified look and said “NOBODY GETS OFF WELFARE!” I said “Well, I do!” We never had to go on assistance again. I firmly believe there should be a limit on welfare.

I cannot fathom how the democrats think they are ‘representing ‘ their constituents with votes like this. A bill like this seems to me to be commen sense so maybe that’s the problem.

The new bill is nice, but when is the Senate going to finish approving all of the appointments President Trump has made?

Pres. Trump said he wouldn’t sign any bill until the SAVE Act was passed. This bill may wind up being a conundrum for the Democrats. It is a sensible bill to benefit We The People, and would put POTUS in a pinch. But it’s the increased voter base that Dems are hoping to get from the influx of immigrants over the Biden four years – legal or not. That’s really why they oppose the SAVE Act. Will be interesting to see what the Dems do (and RINOs).

We need list of names of all who vote against this bill as well as the SAVE Act so we can vote them out.

Several European countries who are having immigrant crime problems have adopted a policy of deporting all immigrants that comment ANY significant crime. While deporting immigrants that have committed fraud is a start, I favor the stronger European approach of deporting ALL migrants that commit significant crimes in the USA (excluding minor misdemeanors like “jaywalking, etc) The USA already has enough home-grown criminals and does not need to tolerate imported criminals too!

I would like to suggest that the fraudsters should be obligated to pay back the money stolen… assets seized, bank accounts, etc. to recover the money that was stolen.

This is just one more example out of hundreds, where Democrats PROVE that they love, support, and WILL GO TO ANY AND ALL MEANS POSSIBLE, LEGAL OR NOT, TO PROTECT ALL KINDS OF EVIL, VIOLENT, AND SCHEMING CRIMINALS – ILLEGALS, FRAUDSTERS, WASTE FRAUD AND ABUSERS, RAPISTS, MURDERERS, CHILD MOLESTERS, DRUGGIES, ARSONISTS, HUMAN TRAFFICKERS, VOTING FRAUDSTERS, ETC…….

Remember, that these are the Democrats who say they care about the people. And they do, they RELLY DO.
BUT THE ONLY PEOPLE THESE AMERICA-LAST, ILLEGALS-FIRST DEMOCRATS CARE ABOUT, AND THAT THEY SUPPORT, PROTECT AND DEFEND ARE ALL THE SCUM LISTED ABOVE.

REMEMBER THIS WELL COME THE MID-TERMS. VOTE THESE DEMOCRAT BASTARDS OUT!!!!!!!

dEPORTATION IS FINE, BUT FIRST FIND A WAY TO RECOVER WHAT THEY STOLE. wHY TAXPERS ARE FOOTING THE BILL OF ALL ILLEGALS (LAW ENFORCEMENETN, COSTS ASSOCIATED, TRANSPORTATION, VICTIMS, ETC.), DEPORTATION DOES NOT PUNISH AND THEY SHOULD SERVE TIME IN AN AMERICAN PRISON.

  1. Vote Democrats out of office, NOW! They should be serving time for the cost added to the under 50% who still pay taxes and for their assine behavior. We never hear of victims unless they’re murdered, WHY? An American jail would be appropriate, and it they do not like it, tough.
  2. Elected Republicans and change some laws to “punish” – Trial for violation of American Law, hard time, punishment, then kick them out, no free plane ride, find an alternative at no cost to the taxpayer.
  3. Sue Biden, staff, and democrats for recovery of costs; recover money from their ineptitude; Repay taxpayers. OR, sue the Government for cost recovery.

I fully support AMAC in ridding America of all Illegals and those who were allowed Citizenship but have become fraudulent, corrupt, failing to Assimilate, refusing personal swearing Allegiance to America, being a tax paying productive citizen, etc… Time to offload this Baggage of Illegals and those who are non-compliant Foreigners, given Citizenship!

Maybe they should start with that immigrant politician in Minnesota. I doubt she supports it.

Let’s hope the SINate passes this QUICKLY, and they make public ALL the manes of the DemoRATS and backstabbing RINOs that voted against it.

This will be proof once again, that they DON’T CARE about We the People taxpayers. And it can be used for making one more, of hundreds of political ads, that the Republicans can use to flood the airwaves 24/7 before the Mid-terms.

Why hasn’t our Federal government opened up a tip line offering rewards to U.S. citizens reporting these blatant abusers of our programs set up to aid American taxpayers. The obvious laws being broken across America by the aiding and abetting, harboring illegal aliens, filing of false claims, and government officials like Majorcas who at least should be tried for treason.

The saddest part is that such a bill is even remotely necessary when it’s truly just common sense.

This bill isn’t going anywhere until the Senate passes it, maybe, then on to President Trump. Why is it always a “wait and see” game?
