The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is teaming up with the Department of Homeland Security to prevent illegal immigrants from using public housing.
HUD Secretary Scott Turner and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem signed the “American Housing Programs for American Citizens” Memorandum of Understanding to end the use of taxpayer dollars to benefit noncitizens in the country illegally instead of American citizens.
As part of the agreement, HUD will provide a full-time staff member to assist in operations at the Incident Command Center, establishing an interagency partnership for data sharing to “ensure taxpayer-funded housing programs are not used to harbor or benefit illegal aliens.”
“American tax dollars should be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to an issue as pressing as our nation’s housing crisis,” Turner said. “This new agreement will leverage resources including technology and personnel to ensure American people are the only priority when it comes to public housing.”
Noem accused the Biden administration of giving illegal aliens priority over Americans. She said that will stop.
“The entire government will work together to identify abuse and exploitation of public benefits and make sure those in this country illegally are not receiving federal benefits or other financial incentives to stay illegally,” she said. “If you are an illegal immigrant, you should leave now. The gravy train is over.”
In February, President Donald Trump signed an order mandating federal agencies to “identify all federally funded programs currently providing financial benefits to illegal aliens and take corrective action.”

It did my heart good to read this article! FINALLY something is being done about money being wasted on illegal immigrants instead of going to benefit the American taxpayers and their families—where it belongs.
I would like to see Biden and his whole entourage held accountable for the theft and the damages Every ill gotten penny confiscated to pay for the damage.
Biden’s administration emboldened them to cross the borders to get all the free dole outs he gave to them, at the expense of our own suffering citizens, just so the Democrats can have them as their voters forever. We are happy that Pres. Trump’s focus is for our people’s welfare & not for illegals and criminals. May God bless our President always nd keep him safe from the evil ones.
Biden Administration members who “aided and abetted” the entry of illegals into America should be prosecuted and imprisoned. We have laws…they’re just not being enforced.
for the life of me i cannot believe how the biden people can tell a homeless american person especially a homeless vet. sorry we have no place or help for you because we gave it all to illegal aliens. this is way beyond belief. it is more than criminal it is a crime against humanity. take all of the biden family monies away from them and pay for the homeless americans they screwed over, housing, medical care, clothing, and food.

Not in my state of Louisiana. Stood in line in the grocery store while an illegal and his family checked out in front of me with two (2) buggy’s full of groceries and paid for them with a state EBT card. Somebody (USDA, SSA etc) is finding a way around these proposed regulations.

They were allowed and even encouraged to invade our country by brandon and his ilk, who should pay for their misdeeds. Maybe congress could pass an impeachment against brandon, they did it to President Trump.
Now that we are trying turn off spigot for illegals, We must keep on doing! for what is going on in our Country shows democrats their opposition to their spending spree!
Finally the government (taxpayer $$$) incentives/enticements of free stuff for those who come in the USA illegally has ended!!!! I think the majority of citizens who were aware of such incentives for illegals were also very much aware it was during Democrat Joe Biden’s administration.
We have people sleeping on the streets that includes Vets as well and Democrats make nothing of this that is sick they should be mad as heck at Biden & Harris but they are not instead they hate President Trump and DOGE what is wrong with people there hate for President Trump they just do not care unless it would effect a democrat then they would be mad and would make everyone pay for it.

Now, if only President Trump can do the same thing in the crap state of California since my vote hasn’t done any good so far. The communist in California are only interested in turning this state into another new York, Trump , cut all funding, period.
This means Congress has no power in this issue. How do Noem & Turner have the power to sign a MOU on such a huge issue? What is happening in USA in regards to the three branches of our government? I do not believe that we voted for Noem & Turner, but we did for Congress members because they are the legislative branch.
