When Kamala Harris first jumped into the 2024 race, the joy was palpable.
Every major Democrat leaped to celebrate. The legacy media uncorked the Champagne. Rank-and-file Democratic voters had a pep in their step. After all, the Democratic Party had pulled off an unprecedented feat: After rigging the Democratic primaries to avoid any serious opposition to ailing incumbent Joe Biden, they had, without a single vote, removed his nomination and handed it to Biden’s younger, more diverse vice president.
What could go wrong?
The theory was simple: The problem with Biden’s campaign was Biden. It wasn’t the issues. It wasn’t Americans’ view of the country more broadly. It was just the doddering old man wandering around stages and speaking mushmouth. Put him out of his misery like Old Yeller, the theory went, and Democrats could insert literally anyone and beat the much-despised Donald Trump.
For a few weeks, it seemed they might be right.
Harris soared in the polls; suddenly, where Trump had led by anywhere between three and five points nationally, she was ahead by a similar margin. In the swing states, where Biden had fallen far behind, Harris had leaped to small but measurable leads.
The Kamalamentum was real.
And then, suddenly, it faded away.
What happened?
The answer is simple: The American people realized that Kamala Harris is, after all, Kamala Harris. She’s still the awkward, empty, incoherent mess she was when she ran for president in 2019. She doesn’t know how to answer basic questions about her own policies; worse, she doesn’t even know her own policies. She begins to fritz out like Quaid’s fat lady suit in “Total Recall” when asked anything beyond the absolutely facile. Her sentences resemble MC Escher illusions: verbal staircases that ought to ascend to a fixed point, but instead, defying the laws of reason, curve back on themselves to end where they began. Her platitudinous slogans are matched in the magnitude of their vacuity only by the extraordinarily ersatz enthusiasm with which she utters them. All the off-putting tics — the random laughter, the strange hand motions, the nasal smugness as she recites entirely obvious tautologies — they’ve all reappeared with a vengeance.
In short, she’s terrible.
And she was always terrible.
Biden himself had worried about this reality. There was a reason Harris dropped out of the 2020 race earlier than any other major candidate. There was a reason she was the most unpopular vice president in modern American history.
And there’s a reason she’s collapsing now.
And so she’s left with one strategy: bribery. She’s pledging new goodies, day after day, directed at specific voter blocs. This week, after deploying Barack Obama to lecture young Black men didn’t jog her support levels, she proposed a bevy of obviously unconstitutional giveaways, including a million loans of $20,000 for Black entrepreneurs, fully forgivable. This followed her pledge to hand a $25,000 homebuyer grant to first-time homebuyers, with heavier grants to “first-generation homeowners” — a giveaway again specifically targeted at minority audiences.
This is unlikely to work. After all, big promises rarely materialize in big results. She’d require Congressional help to achieve any of this — and as she made clear to CBS News’ Bill Whitaker, she literally has no idea what to do if Congress refuses.
And so Kamala Harris is on the ropes. The joy is gone. The sugar high has worn off. Kamala, it turns out, is still Kamala. And that’s devastating news for a Democratic Party that had hoped to move forward, unburdened by what has been.

It must have been evident to everyone from the beginning that she is not up to the job. Flapping about like a fish out of the water .Worse than Biden if that is possible. Free goodies are not the way out ,as is evident after half a century when poverty was to vanish. Democrats need the plantation without which they would perish. Anyone voting for them is lying to himself ,the worst kind of lie .

Harris INSULTS the entire population whenever she opens her mouth. Take this. How can Oharis have the NERVE to pledge herself to ‘giving $20,000 to BLACK intrapreneurs’ and ‘giving $25,000 or MORE to first-time and first-gen homebuyers’ (from other Taxpayers)…
AND AT THE SAME TIME allow FEMA to tell victims of Helene that ‘FEMA is out of money. sorry. here’s $750 for all your Loss! but it’s just a Loan that has to be re-paid within a year or you forfeit your Land to the Govt!’ (so instead of a ‘hand-out’ to those most NEEDY in a time of CRISIS, her Govt. is going to take their Land from them, too, for just $750 or less!!! How INSULTING!!! Is she NUTS!???
It’s as though Oharis doesn’t think we can ‘remember’ what she said from one day to the next, just because SHE doesn’t!
Anyone who saw Kamala’s half hour with Bret Baer and Trump’s with women simply could NOT vote for Kamala.
Let’s compare. Trump listened to each questioner, answered each question specifically, even saying things like “That’s such an easy question”, and looked in the eyes of each questioner as he answered with specific details how he would fix what they asked about. He was polite, showed real interest and cared about America and Americans.
Kamala knew she had to get through a half hour, so she never shut up and she was rude, insufferable, lied all the time or projected her faults onto our side, gave phony made up answers that by now we know are phony since she keeps using the same baloney. Mostly she was so rude and grating. She showed absolutely no interest in America or Americans. Spoke only platitudes and gave no solutions. Abrasive and irritating. Why is anyone voting for her and why isn’t Trump ahead by at least ten points everywhere?
Not to worry, Kamala: when you’re 15 minutes of politics is over November 5th, with your career portfolio and educational background, you could probably probably apply for a sweet assistant manager job at McDonald’s… and you already have Mc-sperience!
It must be joyous to those Kamala tried to destroy with her “withering questioning” of witnesses before her and the Senate Judiciary committee, to see she is nothing more than a blustering, vacuous empty suit!
As incompetent and stupid as comrade Kamala is, I still see footage of her rallies and there are many idiots in attendance. I doubt that the attendance doesn’t even compare to Trump’s rallies, but I fear it’s enough votes to keep the election close enough for the corrupt government and state election officials to pull their BS election-interference tactics and complete the election steal. I pray that I’m wrong.
Her only policy is to attack Trump whenever she is asked a legitimate question about her policies!
She is a COMPLETE FAILURE, She cares NOTHING ABOUT ANY of the hundreds of thousands of deaths she is responsible for because of her willful and planned border invasion, allowing tons of drugs to pour in, millions of rapists, murderers, and hundreds of thousands of sex and human traffickers.
With all this devastation, blood, carnage, violence in our streets, and death, Harris voters support this evil. As shocking as it is, there are still, tragically, so many ignorantly arrogantly and cold-hearted, non-compassionate IDIOTS that will still vote for this evil woman.
It’s amazing that the polls could show her support at anywhere over 20%, ok 30% with pollsters who put their thumb on the scale. I have to remember that I myself know a whole lot of folks who don’t listen to the news and if they vote it’s the party they’re used to.
The chorus of Cliff Richard’s’ 1976 single “Devil Wiman” sums up Kamala Harris to a tee:

She’s gonna get you

Beware of her.
Child murderers, e.g., abortion supporters/Democrats, have no qualms about jailing, torturing, or murdering YOU if you inconvenience or irritate them. Think about that, before you ever support one and become just as guilty of their crimes and sins.

Exactly how I felt from the start of her “campaign”. I knew that once even low information voters got a dose of Kamala, she’d be toast. Now, only die-hard democrats, ignorant college kids and communists are in her corner. I’ve been saying from the start that she’s in for a Jimmy Carter style shellacking – maybe worse and deservedly so. She has failed upwards her entire career and has had no boundaries on what she’d do to further her career. Well thank God Obama and Pelosi ordained her as the next marionette. This blew up in their smug faces and could very well spell the end of the evil party; something I have been hoping for since the ’90’s.

It may be very naive to expect that a more descriptive definition of her policies would help her candidacy, as her intentional and stubborn lack of detail suggests that her policies could quickly stall commerce in a way that would flatter even Biden’s performance in office. It may be wise to expect her policies to be ruinous – right from the starting gate.
It may also be wise to bear in mind that nothing Biden, Harris, or ANY other “democrat” has done, thus far, was EVER intended to make our middle class MORE affluent.
Trump’s chances are real, but we’d best brace ourselves for a much worse outcome.

The obvious answer to the “are you stupid or do you think Black people are” is her plan to give $20,000 to Black only “entrepreneurs”. Anybody who’s ever heard of the Civil Rights Act knows this won’t last 60 seconds after it hits the Supreme Court. But hey, by then she’s got the votes and doesn’t have to pay for them.
