If Biden Really Wants to Help Israel, He Must Stop the War on American Energy Now

president biden speaking on energy

President Joe Biden solemnly declared today that he stands with Israel against the terrorists. Great. But his actions in the White House have facilitated these homicidal attacks by financing our enemies. This was so predictable and avoidable.

Biden’s war on American energy started on day 1. His first act as president was to kill the Keystone XL pipeline, and the systematic reversal of former President Donald Trump’s pro-America energy policies has gotten worse month after month.

The Institute for Energy Research lists scores of Biden’s anti-fossil fuel policies that include in recent weeks taking millions of acres of prime oil and gas lands – from Alaska down to the Gulf of Mexico – out of production. Biden’s environmental rules and higher taxes on the industry seem intentionally designed to bankrupt this industry – much as he promised he would do if elected president.

As a consequence, the latest Committee to Unleash Prosperity energy report finds that U.S. oil output is roughly 2 million barrels a day below the Trump policy trend line. At today’s price of $85-$90 a barrel, this means the U.S. is losing about $175 million a day in energy output. How do you like to pay $4 to $5 a gallon at the pump?

This isn’t just an economic self-inflicted wound but a deepening national security threat as well.

We have known for 50 years that terrorist organizations like Hamas are primarily financed with petrodollars. We also know from the days of the OPEC oil embargoes of the 1970s that the nation that has control of oil markets has a commanding height of geopolitical influence around the world. It is a truism that in 21st-century global confrontations, economic might is foremost in fending off enemies.

Who has benefited most from the “green” energy anti-fossil fuel policies of this administration? Start with Russia. Biden has aided and abetted the Vladimir Putin war machine in Ukraine by making Russian oil and gas more expensive on world markets. He has similarly enriched Middle East oil-producing nations like Iran as well.

Of course, increasing America’s vulnerability and our capability to respond to these terrorist attacks against Israel is that the U.S. strategic petroleum reserve has been nearly depleted under Biden. We are starting this conflict behind the eight ball.

It doesn’t help that roughly $10 billion in our national defense budget is now diverted into green energy programs that do nothing to enhance national security.

To win this new war against terrorism, an obvious first step is for America to regain its energy dominance – a position we achieved under Trump. That means producing all our energy. Our oil, our gas, our coal, our nuclear power, and when appropriate and cost-efficient, our wind and solar power.

If instead Biden continues to kowtow to radical environmentalists, we will make America weaker and our enemies stronger, and the world will be a much more dangerous place in the years to come.

Car Insurance, UP, house insurance UP, taxes UP, (saying we are getting a 3% raise on our SS, all gone to my Supplement Insurance AND our Medicare premium. Groceries out of sight. When they it’s just small increases in groceries they are crazy. Soup the was 99 cents is now 1.27, distilled water the was 99 cents is now 1.35/gallon, every time I go to the store, things are up 10 cents more than days before. I’m just depressed with all that is going on.

President Ronald Reagan had Faith in God as part of the economic policy during his administration. Ethics needs to be part of economic policy or things can go far off course due to lack of some manner of moral guidance . This is a very good article Mr. Moore, you made some profound statements regarding energy and national defense — one does not need to go back all that far — just to the 1940’s to realize the importance of having fuel for ships and aircraft and vehicles to do what needs to be done to keep this Country free. History indicates that intelligent planning will save the day during emergencies and knowing about the supply of fuels available is certainly a fundamental in that sense. Well Done with this article Stephan , It should be appreciated by anyone who understands that it is not good for the Country to be vulnerable when dealing with adversaries , it is very good for the United States of America to be energy independent — it is an ethical matter connected with economic policy. Common sense energy policies are vital , so I reckon that means people with common sense and a sense of ethics are needed to have things on the right course. Hope, Courage, respect for Truth — are all good for economic planning . Liberty depends on clear, high level intelligent thinking by people in positions of responsibility. In the spirit of God bless America , the land of the free and the home of the brave , Let Liberty be the watchword.

Biden’s failed policies are non-economic. Over illegal immigration, resources, finances, world criminality, inter-circle corruption, and failure to uphold law.

Very good article Mr. Moore. I think the only way to get the Biden Administration to back off on the environmental train wreck and to help restart the US oil production is to offer a bribe via Hunter. It worked for China and Ukraine, why not the good old USA?

Biden doesn’t want to help anybody except himself and his crime family. He’s funding these terrorists. Seeing what he’s done throughout his presidency, I suspect that he was hoping to start a war to take attention off his impending impeachment. Now he’s pretending to support Israel to buy some more votes. I definitely do not trust this administration as far as I can throw it.

Knee capping the fossil fuel industry is the primary reason for our higher prices everywhere. Goods and services and delivered by gas vehicles. Gas goes up so does everything else. No rocket science here. I’m all for going green but not at the expense of destroying our economy first.

What more will it take for Biden to admit that his War on Fossil Fuels is one of the biggest reasons that price of oil is high. And admit that these petrodollars are feeding Putin & Iran terrorists with more money coming in. And how is Biden going to refill oil borrowed from Strategic Reserve that should be used only for Emergency & not to try to hide the reason that gas at pump costs so much.

All these comments on Biden did this, Biden did that, bidens policies, etc. In my humble opinion, biden is just Charlie McCarthy and now we have to find who is “Edgar Burgun” and eliminate him. I mean no disrespect to the famous dummy and his operator.

With the sole exception of Granada, under the Reagan administration, every military intervention by the U.S., even in conjunction with “coalition” partners, over the past 63 years, has done little more than ruin the infrastructure of the countries in which they occurred and caused humanitarian crises that, ironically, brought thousands of refugees and immigrants to the U.S. who have every reason for hating us. We are, now, seeing the consequences of having caused this, with representatives of those same people groups whose positions are polar-opposites to those which, historically, have represented the Judeo-Christian heritage. Diversity has not, and will not allow a coherent, representative policy, by an administration, which does not offend some aspect of that diversity. Democrats, while claiming to have won elections, prove the fraudulence of them with the consequences of the policies which they allow or implement which do not represent historical, constitutional purposes. They are terrible.

Freddie is a troll and not worth responding to. This article lays out some good and useful information but with our current evil regime that is hell bent on our destruction our only hope is in God and a Righteous Invasion Of Truth. We need to elect leaders who are more than just politicians, willing to stand up for Godly principles and protect our nation against the evil dictators of our own government and this world. When we are strong then we can help others to be strong also.

Biden is a Charleton as a man and so-called President. He is a controlled mannequin by the secret committee (the dark state) who fixed this dummy’s election. He has opened our borders to sleeper cells of Harmas and other enemies. His pal, Berrock Barry Sotoro a foreign agent, and his accomplice Valery Jarret (an Iranian) want the Jews removed from Israel while he claims support for Israel, hogwash. This malicious deceitful regime must be punished for its criminality.
