President Biden recently gave a speech in Philadelphia in which he recalled “those long lines of cars stretching miles back, waiting for just a box of food” during the pandemic. Joe Biden is focused on the November election, but the pandemic food woes aren’t in the past. Food banks in Texas (and Kansas and Florida) are “continuing to draw mid-pandemic crowds” of hungry Americans today, parents are struggling to find baby formula, and grocery prices have skyrocketed. Instead of helping serve the basic needs of Americans, Biden is on the campaign circuit. But what’s worse is that Biden has also directed thousands of federal bureaucrats to force feed Americans election promotional materials and run elections, when taxpayers are actually paying them to run the food programs.
Shortly after his inauguration, President Biden issued Executive Order 14019, “Promoting Access to Voting,” directing all federal agencies to “promote the exercise of the right to vote,” provide “education about voter registration and election information” and “combat misinformation.” With a stroke of his pen, Biden dramatically increased the role of federal bureaucrats in elections.
Let’s take a look at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) track record in involvement in the states. In a 2019 policy memo, the USDA told states that administer its Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) to “dispose of unused, returned WIC infant formula” and is against “donating unused, returned WIC infant formula to entities such as food banks or food pantries.” Burdening state administration in this wasteful policy had destructive results. Implementing the USDA’s recommendation, Georgia officials destroyed 16,459 cans of baby formula since October of last year, even if they were unopened and unexpired. Similar destruction occurred in North Carolina. And now—with the bureaucratic disaster of burdensome regulations and safety inspectors at the FDA who did not act quickly enough—WIC clinics have reduced quantities of formula.
The USDA’s stated mission is to “promote agriculture production that better nourishes Americans” and “to provide economic opportunity through innovation.” It should spend its time and money focusing on food. But Biden wants the USDA—along with all the other agencies—to focus on the midterm elections and interfere with an area left to the state and local governments to run and inform voters about.
In March of this year, the USDA got involved in elections by issuing a memo entitled “Promoting Access to Voting through the Child Nutrition Programs.” The memo directed the USDA to provide “promotional materials” to educate Americans about voter registration and election information. The USDA also directed bureaucrats to charge voter registration services, training, and application processing to the SNAP program administrative funding. In addition, instead of directing bureaucrats to work on food programs (what they were technically hired to do), the federal government is paying USDA employees (as well as the rest of the federal government) to work elections as poll workers or observers, granting them paid administrative leave during the workday.
Congressional oversight leaders wrote a letter to the White House raising legal concerns that the USDA has no power to use taxpayer funds to promote voting. Congress has the constitutional power to tax and direct where said taxes are used. And let’s not forget, it’s a federal election crime to buy votes with food stamps.
The E.O. may violate several federal laws, such as the Anti-Deficiency Act’s prohibition of use of taxpayer funds without congressional authorization, the Hatch Act’s ban on political activity by federal employees on the job, and the National Voter Registration Act’s specifications of the limited role of the federal government in voting.
But it is also a wasteful duplication of government efforts. The U.S. Constitution’s elections clause grants states the primary authority to run elections. And Congress already created a federal independent agency with bipartisan leadership to compile election information—the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.
American people are coming to welfare offices hungry for food stamps, baby formula, and other basic necessities, and they are not getting what they asked for. Stop using federal agencies to force-feed us election information. Stop giving Washington bureaucrats salaries to work elections when they are supposed to be working on food programs. We need the president to run the federal government, and stop trying to run elections.

People in CA don’t wait in line for a box of food, it’s too demeaning. They pack their shopping cart full and pay with a card as not to shame them into working.
The time those USDA employees were forced to peddle elections propaganda would have been more valuable if they had found ways to get food to needy people. That’s part of what they’re being paid to do. That’s what we’re paying them to do. Some of that unexpired baby formula was destroyed after being stored improperly (at high temperatures). In the land of plenty, this waste should never have happened.
Biden seems to think that every federal employee should follow him and his party in lock-step behind his quest for votes. Lay off, Mr. President. Let them do their jobs. (“J-O-B-S”, 3 letters according to biden.)

How about covering the larger story of food shortages being created in countries all around the world by the climate change crowd. It’s only a matter of time until these same destructive policies come to the United States, via the Democrats, and the American people begin to see more food shortages and even higher prices. Have the guts to cover this story properly, when the rest of the MSM in this country is intentionally ignoring it.
Look at what is going on in countries like the Netherlands, Sri Lanka and elsewhere. Where governments are enacting new laws restricting the use of nitrogen-based fertilizers to intentionally reduce crop yields, because the green movement has decided nitrogen is now bad for Mother Earth. You can’t make this stuff up. Crop yields have already been cut in half or more in these countries, forcing food prices higher and mass protests as farmers are at risk of losing their land and people begin to starve.
It seems pretty clear, based on the recent leaked memo from the WEF, that food is now being weaponized as a means to control the masses. Do something important and cover this story properly.

Out of personal experience I can say that the US government does very very very little for actual US citizens. I am American born at least 6 to 7 generations back. In California, when I needed food assistance and WIC, I was told that the ONLY reason I would get ANYTHING was because my daughter’s father was Mexican.
And it is Not only food: I have been denied education and employment simply on the fact of my American heritage (and fired from a couple of jobs “because I was white”.
Don’t get me wrong, we should all still fight for our country, and fight against a government that doesn’t want to let Americans be Americans.

Most, not all, recipients of any SNAP and WIC programs are not interested in anything but getting their benefits. I am not going to even address who are the recipients. On paper, these recipients are given foods for supplementing their newborns through a certain age to meet their nutrition requirements until they reach school age ( preK). Most of these recipients are stay at home parents during these years of the children development, so if anything this is the time period to help develop their parenting skills and help coordinate reliable childcare services in case they were to return to work even in a part time basis after the children are ready for school. They should be encouraged to get off needing benefits as the main source of support.
Now since these benefits are given to all in need despite legal status, giving them voting instructions should not be necessary unless they have legal status as required by the regulations of who qualifies to vote. Just like getting a drivers license doesn’t qualify one as allowed to vote.
Many of us support food banks especially when our religious place of worship has a food pantry. They rely on our donations. The poor prior to Food stamps relied on food banks. After food stamps were created many donations to them dropped and so did food donations. Many Americans currently believe that only the Government should provide a card to buy food and not get people the necessary training for higher-paid jobs. Millions would be lifted out of poverty if many of them with or without dependents were placed into job training programs.

Every one of Biden’s executive orders should be immediately challenged by a judicial process. If a single judge could block things that Trump wanted to do, there must be a judge somewhere who could block Biden!

It should not be possible in the voting system to “buy” someone’s vote. There should be no way possible in the voting system to determine how any individual voted in a public political election … no exceptions. Otherwise, you no longer will able to have a true democracy in government. Now, there is no way to stop someone for paying for a voter cast his/her vote in the purchased manner, but being able to prove it is an absolute no-no. Once a voter casts his/her vote, they should be the only person knowing for certain how he/she marked their vote. Otherwise, you don’t have a true democratic result and overall results will often if not near completely cater to the will of the rich in the society.
